Loved the fresh pasta and the small plates-which turned out to be plenty for one person. It had a comfortable atmosphere that felt like a neighborhood place.

We greatly enjoyed the special ravioli and the Greens and Beans soup was fantastic. But the table of 10 couples in our dining room was a distraction to the staff. However we would definitely return for the quality Italian cooking and great ambiance of the dining room. Also, if you aren't prepared for a big portion on the pasta dishes... More

It's tough to get a great Italian meal outside of Italy, without those sun blessed ingredients but this place gets very close. Jennifer our hostess was great.

This is a very well established restaurant that has occupied this space for a long time. This was our first visit with friends. We found the food to be very good as well as the service. It is a small place without a great deal of ambiance. The decor appears to be the original - so it has some older... More

Considered one of the better restaurants in town, the decor is dark', the food uninspired and very 2nd rate. The staff gives great effort but is somewhat overwhelmed when the restaurant is full. Basically a barely passable trattoria.

My wife and I went. First time there. Simply put WOW!!!! The salad with home grown tomatoes, homemade mozzarella, I have had this at other restaurants or similar they should all take a backseat. The risotto special was perfect. If you try the pasta dishes it is best to do half dishes and try multiple ones. I usually only prefer... More

Lovely place nice atmosphere.Felt intimate seated at a booth. Bread quite good, teacup of ground Parmesan very nice touch, Cesar salad very good. We should have stopped at bread and salad. I ordered appetizer portion of eggplant and it was described as special made and perhaps it was. I detected a smoke like flavor and I'm not a fan of... More

They have developed the menu over many years and it is high quality food which is expertly served. All of the staff is of the highest caliber. For super special occasions they offer their chef's table upstairs for up to... More

A very short walk from the Times Union Center is this gem of an Italian restaurant that has some wonderful variations on some traditional favorites. Steve was a excellent server who told me about a great codfish special with white wine, lemon, broccoli, potatoes, and carrots that was generously portioned and very flavorful. Began with a Tuscan Onion Soup with... More
