I came here with friends while we had some time during a film fest after a recommendation from someone local, and we're so glad we did! The dim sum here is fantastic! The veggie dumplings were really good, as was the chicken shu mui and...the red bean buns. The different rice dishes (steamed rice in baskets and the baked rice Hong Kong style) were all really good, too. Prices were affordable and the staff were friendly.More

We were so pleased to find this little gem while on a college visit in Albany. We ordered a ton of food and were really pleased with everything. The shu mai, xiao long bao, and jiaozi were INCREDIBLE. The noodle soup was good but not...as amazing without hand-pulled noodles. If our son ends up at RPI, we will be frequenting this little joint!More

Enjoyed the cold Bubble Tea and dim sum, esp. the shrimp rolls. Ordered the pork wonton and pan fried chicken cutlet noodle soup bowls and the broth had no taste to it, it was the blandest broth I have ever had in a soup. Waiter...ran into me coming out of the kitchen and was not very friendly in general which brought down my initial rating of 4 down to a 3.More

Everything we ordered was really tasty and just like you get in Hong Kong without being oily. The rice rolls were excellent and the egg tarts and custard buns perfect. Only complaint would be that the barbecue pork bun was too small. Hong Kong style...milk tea was just like what you get in HK.More

Had sweet and sour ribs, shrimp dumplings and eggplant and pork over rice. All were delicious. Great prices and good service too.

First of all, this restaurant on Central Ave in Albany has its own free parking lot, which is a plus in this area of town. Walking in the door, its a nice zen-like atmosphere with wooden tables and trimmings everywhere. The staff was friendly and...welcoming. The also serve bubble/boba tea here and it was great! We ordered some dim sum options (soup dumplings, hot and sour dumplings, spicy wontons, and roast pork dumplings) as well as a noodle soup (spicy diced pork). The hot and sour dumplings and the spicy diced pork noodle soup were the highlights here. Hot and sour dumplings were steamed and the wrappers were very thin with a great texture. The filling was so flavorful, and it came bathed in a delicious sauce with lots of pepper flakes - so good! The noodle soup had a delicious meaty broth with a really nice herbal aroma. The meat was tender and the noodles were the perfect chewy texture. We will definitely come back to this place!More

Taiwan Noodle is right up there with the NYC taste buds! I go here for the Beef Broth Stew Soup. It is delicious and good for the soul. Excellent menu covering dim sum, soups, apps, lunch and dinner plates. All prepared on site. Staff are...very attentive and friendly. Love the off street parking on Central Ave. Go Have Fun! Thank you Taiwan Noodle for making me feel better for the Holidays! CMore

Didn't want Chinese didn't want Sushi but wanted something in between. This place is the right choice.Located on lower Central Ave, we found off street parking. Reminded me of a place in NYC. Waiters were very friendly and helpful answering are questions since we've never been...here before. We came on a Wednesday and didn't have reservations, but they were busy. They featured a large menu with all types of noodle soups to choose from. Tried some apps we've never heard of. Everyone at our table enjoyed what was ordered. Well worth visiting. And a return visit will happen real soon.More
