I stopped here before a concert at the Egg. I would strongly recommend making a reservation like I did. This place is very busy but the service is great. Plenty of beer choices & the food is average bar fare. It was very busy & the noise matched the atmosphere but I will be back.

I love this place! The food is terrific, the people are great, and the pizza slice "goes down good!" But, if you hit it on a very popular night, as my friends and I recently did, it's best to dine elsewhere! Give the staff credit, they advised us that we'd wait at least a half hour for a table, and,... More

Hadn’t been to this location since the days when it was the high end power meal place called Ogden’s. It has been transformed into a beer pub, although remnants from the Ogden days when it didn’t handle that many diners, such as the small bathrooms, still exist. Actually, the bathrooms need to be thoroughly cleaned or spruced up, they were... More

This is definitely a unique venue for a meal. Located in a nice spot in downtown Albany, the structure itself is impressive offering a pleasant and enjoyable ambiance. The food is good, the service is polite and on-the-spot while the prices are not bad. We were in town visiting our son, who is in graduate school in Albany. He and... More

This bar is a cool place to hang out and grab some snack food. You can make a reservation if you'd like but there is plenty of space to just grab a seat and get some drinks. We went for a quick bite to eat and some drinks before heading to the Egg for a comedy show. The atmosphere is... More

We arrived and were greeted by too many drunk youths... The music is blaring and although the building was once a lovely and historic one, filled with lovely architecture, it has all but been destroyed.

The food is outstanding - some of the very best in the area. Excellent salads and entrees, and the best french fries in town (friends drive up from NYC to get some) Check out the rooftop dining in the warm weather.

While in town visiting, it was recommended that we go here for weekend Brunch. What a great time! The atmosphere is awesome. It feels like you are in Europe. Wooden walls, old wooden large communal tables, fireplace going, large Christmas tree in the corner, and just a fun Pub ambiance. There were 6 in our group and most of us... More

Best burger and fries I've ever had. I ordered my burger medium/medium well but it was TOO red for my taste. I think in NY it's different. Down in NC when I ask for medium it's minimal pink. But it didn't take away from the taste and experience. I would travel all the way from my hometown to go here... More

Stopped for dinner and were immediately seated. Never saw anyone wait at the door for more than a minute, but this was not on a holiday night. Seating on the main level consists of long tables, so if communal dining is not your thing, you go elsewhere. Loud but fun crowd, few TVs showing sports and good music overhead. Building... More
