If you are having any sort of group event, like an afterwork get-together, in downtown Albany, this is the best spot. They provide great service, quick service, for your group. Also fine just to pop in solo, but hey it;s so much more fun to go with a bunch of friends. All reasonable prices, good food and drink. Enjoy!

The staff's very attentive(Beertenders). TVS everywhere( Beer-vision), Second floor has live music during the weekends(Yass beer). Mixed crowed on most nights(Different Beers)- They open late (Late night beer). Fun laid back décor.

Excellent beer selection, good pub fare, casual atmosphere for lunch and early dinner. Gets noisier as the evening wears on.

Enjoyed the service, food & Brooklyn Oktoberfest Beer. A small pizza starts off you meal free! This was our first visit & found it unique.

Communal (Harry Potter Hall) style dinning. We had a toddler who needed a highchair -the ones they have attach to the end of the table- it worked out well and she actually loved sitting in it. We've been wanting to try brunch here for months so when we saw all day brunch offered on a sunday we jumped on our... More

Despite it's communal dining area the Beer Hall is worth a try simply because the food is excellent and not your typical pub food by any stretch. The Lamb Kebobs I had were excellent and a a very generous portion. Meat was grilled to perfection with excellent sides. There are a few private tables, but as I said the food... More

Great place to meet up with people and enjoy some after work beverages and food. They provide a small pizza free of charge with your first beer. The food is very good and service is great.

We had a wonderful brunch. The food was very good. I had the best eggs benedict I have ever had. The brunch menu also included a cocktail. The staff was very friendly. Our server was excellent-very knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive. We were so pleased to see the new life given to this beautiful, historic building. Thank you for... More

Really great food. They have an open table concept which is great if your just looking for something quick. Looks run down from the outside but is tastefully renovated inside. I loved how they kept the charm of the old building. They also have plenty of parking in a separate lot.

Thank Stephanie R
