Really let down by poor quality food., badly presented. Our food was presented on ridiculous large platters in segments like a school cafeteria. It was cold! So salty it was barely edible. My son ordered a seafood carbonara. He got 5 prawns in his saucy...pasta...WITH SHELLS STILL ON! I was going to complain at the time but my local friend who recommended the place was so embarrassed by how bad it was, we just paid and left. As a Seychellois it was embarrassing that tourists experience that as typical creole food. I emailed the owner to kindly advise and never received a response. Clearly they don't care. Will never recommend visit again.More

We visited as a family of four and all enjoyed a wonderful lunch looking out to the ocean in this lovely family-run restaurant. I would strongly recommend the tuna steak which was absolutely delicious, whilst my wife thoroughly enjoyed her fish curry. The desserts were...also a real treat, my children adored the chocolate fondant with ice-cream! The service was very friendly during our meal and this helped to create a very relaxed atmosphere. My wife also enjoyed a very refreshing mojito and it was great to get a pint of beer on draught! I thought the food was excellent value, with all taxes and service included in the price so you’re clear what you’re paying from the start. Overall, a fantastic experience and we can’t wait to visit again in the future!More

Stopped by for lunch – the restaurant was not very busy, which is a shame because it was a great experience. We had a couple of curries and they were really delicious. Definitely recommend.

The best meal in the Seychelles. I had the fish and prawn kebab and my husband the prawn kebab. Absolutely delicious in delightful surroundings

Went for lunch and had high expectations given the reviews. Good points: nice location and friendly waiting staff. Food was well presented. Vegetable curry was passable although lacked any spice. Bad points: the chicken with fruit sauce was quite tasteless. The fruit appeared old and...the chicken was quite chewy. At the end the bill was presented and we felt over charged for what was a highly disappointing meal.More

In between visits to the Vallée de Mai and Anse Lazio I stopped at this restaurant in Côte d'Or for a small bite at lunch. The restaurant 'Pirogue' with a big, covered outdoor seating area suited me best. It looked quite elegant with its white...table cloths and white cloth napkins. Before sitting down I had to register and my temperature was measured. Only in the mood for something very light before going to swim I was attracted by a starter-dish in the menu card, called 'Smoked Marlin Rolls' and this was what I ordered. The dish was presented in a nice way, all in small starter portions, with the thin smoked marlin slice wrapped in some kind of green (the waitress said that it was spinach, but it had a different consistency). and with an additional spicy cream cheese filling inside. On the side it had a small salad of golden apple, carrots, cabbage plus a cucumber slice and a black olive. All quite tasty. I finished the light meal with an espresso by Lavazza.More

Unfortunately food was bland and service slow. Had prawn cocktail which was boring and basic and seafood pasta was overcooked and had hardly any seafood in it... Tuna steak was OK. Staff was slow and were told terrace was fully booked but when we left...there were still only 2 tables occupied.... Would not go again.More

Beautiful restaurant and great food. I went for the tuna steak with garlic & lime butter. The presentation was very nice and the food was tasty. Service was good too.

We had dinner in the restaurant, nice location just in front of the beach. They have a very nice kids menu we were not expecting one, since we have try a couple of other ones before. Try the tuna steak absolutely divine. I would recommend...a booking in advance, the table on the terrace are nicer. Very nice and welcoming teamMore

We came here twice and tried different dishes. The grilled fish with creole sauce, tuna steak and chicken and prawns curry are really good. The service is motivated and friendly. Unfortunately the cocktails are not that great (waaaay too much sugar/syrup) and the place is...slightly overpriced, especially compared to other - much fancier - places around. Still a good choice in this area.More
