Not a large menu but quality food and (by Seychelles standard) good fast service. We ate here quite frequently and always had good food. The Job fish and Prawn skewer were favorite and always good quality. Beware the prices as there is 15% VAT and...10% service charge on top! This ads considerably to the bill.More

There was hardly anybody in the restaurant so we just walked in. The food is ok. Nothing fancy. When we ordered the food, I told the waiters to hurry up since we need to add gas (there are only two on the Praslin Island) after...dinner. I think they completely forgot one meal because after checking several times, they finally brought it out. Needless to say, we missed the opening time of one and good thing the other opened till later. We were so worried that we might run out of gas in a middle of no where.More

Nice looking place in good area with decent menu and attentive staff but the food was well below our expectations and the final pricing was verging on a disgrace. It is no wonder it was empty and remained so most times we passed it .

Stop for a drink, with such good welcome and gentle service we decided to have lunch. Not disappointed with the cocktails, best sofar tested in Seychelles, and the food served were very good, main dishes and dessert

Liked the service and all staff was really nice. Unfortunately we got food poisoning from the tuna steak so would not recommend it.

The food was delicious, and value for money. Very laid back and calm atmosphere, near the beach. Will surely come back for the food. Thank you

Service and waiters were nice. However, we found ourselves disappointed regarding the food. Took a mocktails with what was supposed to be mix of fresh juices. I’d go to the marketstore and open a bottle of juice and it would have been the same. Food...was okay for my mother but the fish I ordered was tasteless and chewy. We asked for extra sauce because rice was too dry... As for the desert, we both ordered tiramisu. What we got was a tiny mousse with a taste of coffee. 3 bites and it was over. Last but not least, A huge coackroch was moving under the tables for 15min. The restaurant is open and our table was on the patio and indeed, it’s Seychelles but yet, we were hoping there were no bugs in the kitchen... We informed our waiter who looked surprised and apologized. Really disappointed about this restaurant, prices are high for average food. You can find better.More

Tonight we went to this restaurant because all the dishes in the pictures looks very good. We ordered a starter with 5 different kinds of seafood for 20 $ We was really shocked when we saw what they are serving us. 4 of them were...swimming in a orange tetrapack cocktail sauce, even the cold fried calamares rings. We do not understand what happens, maybe the original dish was finished. The staff took away our plates without asking us how it tasted. After that we have to finish our dinner.More

Thanks for the review. I’m sorry to hear that you did not like our ocean platter dish. Note that this starter is served cold and I can guarantee that our cocktail sauce is made in house by our chefs. That is the case for all...More

We went to the Pirogue Restaurant as part of a cruise lunch. We were told to be there at 12 noon and most were all there except 4 who were late. The food was all ready at 12 noon but the organisers from the boat...asked us to wait until we all had a drink to be served to us (this took 20+ minutes) hence the food which was hot was getting colder. It is a shame that the organisers (Fred Olsen) made us late to get our hot food and having waited to start a line up of a large number of people I never got any food until 30 minutes late. I am sure the staff worked well but the food was a bit cold when I ate it.More
