ST PIERRE BEACH RESTAURANT, Praslin Island

We popped by this large resort to check out the great views and see what all the positive reviews were all about and were a bit disappointed to arrive and find the beach area was closed and only the main restaurant in the gardens overlooking...the guest pool were open, but pressed on ahead. What we found was a very well trained staff, with a good wine selection, and fairly reasonable prices for Praslin. All of the staff were prompt, courteous, and very friendly with our little child going so far as to help chase her about when they were not busy with other guests (Always a lifesaver for parents!). The only down side of the place was that every dish we ordered was badly over seasoned to the point that we could not really taste any of the individual main ingredients. Though nicely plated, one could tell the kitchen staff were over compensating a bit as there was nothing really remarkable that stood out from our lunch sadly, but on the other hand, we did appreciate the staff and the great wine menu. And though we could not eat by the sea, the pool views were not so bad and hopefully they will reopen their beach restaurant soonMore

Open buffet carnaval

A beautiful reastaurant in Paradise Sun Hotel, right by the sea. The hospitality in general was 5-star; Daryl took us to our table and then Luba was our waiter until the end, made sure we were satisfied and comfortable until the end, really appreciate it....Food was quite good and variety was more than satisfactory. Price is not low which is normal, go hungry ;)More

got there for drinks - really good!

we stopped by for a drink and were positively surprised. it is difficult to prepare a really good drink but they made it. I can recommend them for drinks for sure!More

Lovely Views, Good Food

Well worth a visit. Good food, hospitable and friendly staff, mind blowing views. Not as expensive as other restaurants visited in the area and offering an interesting and varied menu of sea food, fish, pasta and more.More

Amazing vacation

The best place to be.... it’s was amazing stay with warm welcoming staff..food are really good...nice views nice place ... and one thing I want to mention here is that who ever is coming to visit this place please please don’t forget to pass by...the bar and meet the best and wonderful bartender boid his professional and friendly staff who make our stay more valuable.. thank you so much for your service and we will be back soon to try the famous mojito & pinacolada the best never had in my life. Just WOW

We stumbled across this restaurant while walking along Cote d'Or beach. It has to be the best beach side restaurant location on Praslin with its incredible views of the ocean. The restaurant also has a completely beach sand floor which makes for a nice, casual...setting. We were welcomed very well and the overall service was friendly and efficient. The lunch is off the menu and it seems to cover all the bases. The pizza and fish skewer we had were well cooked, tasty and nicely presented. The value for money was also one of the best we found on Praslin, especially the drinks prices.More

Lunch with your feet in the sand. Excellent service

This is the restaurant of the Sun Paradise resort right on Anse Volbert. Warm welcome and very friendly service with the creole touch i.e. smiling and stressless. They serve a mix of international cuisine (for those who cannot wait to be back home) like sandwiches,...salads, pasta or pizza and creole cuise including octopus curry or seafood espetada. You can even choose your own fish from the day catch display and they’ll grill it for you. We’ve had lunch twice there, 2 adults and 2 teenagers and ended up each time with a bill under 1500 SCR (approx. 90 Euros) including beverages and desert + the beautiful view on St Pierre islet and Chauve-Sourie island of course. I definitely recommend this restaurantMore
