This restaurant deserves to be the #1 restaurant in Praslin on Trip Advisor! The location was great by the ocean. The chips they gave us while we waited were great. We had lobster with garlic. It tasted great and the portion was generous. Their service is top notch - they replaced our plates(for lobster shells) quickly, they gave us an extra portion of the dessert when we ordered just one to share, and the chef himself picked us up from the hotel (we were staying at Coco de Mer Hotel). Cost us(two people) about $250 including the fruit juices we had and the dessert and it was worth it! Great for couples' romantic night and families too. Strongly recommended if you are staying in Praslin. :)

Hands down the best food and service during our week-long stay on Praslin. Located at water's edge on Praslin's southern coast and tastefully furnished in modern woods with a classic twist, this restaurant is a perfect romantic (or any special occasion) getaway. Regardless of where you are staying on Praslin, treat yourself to one night (or more) at "Les Rochers." Sandra, our host, was spectacular: friendly, knowledgeable of the food, professional. We left the menu in her hands saying only that (a) we would like to eat fish and (b) we would like to sample true local cuisine. We were not disappointed. Sandra brought three delectable food main course meals each truly different in their preparation and equally amazing. The fish baked in a saffron and coconut sauce was light and flaky. The fish curry was the best I've eaten EVER: beautiful chunks of buttery fish in a local curry sauce with fresh vegetables and steamed bananas on the side. Yet another (local) fish dish was bathed in a tomato and garlic sauce. Side dishes were plentiful, delicious and complimented the meal perfectly. My wife, daughter and I did not leave one morsel remaining. Ok...it was a bit pricey (about $230 USD for the three of us). Nevertheless, the delicacies served, quality service and exquisite location made this an acceptable price for such quality. My absolute favorite for local, fine dining fare in Praslin. Visit and enjoy!

We were a group of people on Praslin Island for a wedding and this restaurant was picked for the pre-wedding dinner for selected family members. Had we known it was such a fantastic spot with great views across the Indian Ocean, we would have made an earlier reservation - sometimes hard to organise a large group of people. We had a fantastic meal inside with one of the dishes being bat stew!!!! Not my taste but it was there for the ones who wanted to try it and they did!!! Most of us went for seafood and it was enjoyed by all. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, it was not too busy so we had excellent service. A bonus at the end of the evening was each individual could pay for their own meal and drinks separately. Would definitely recommend and will return the next time I am on Praslin.

We payed over €135 for 2 persons (3 meals, 3glasses of house wine, 1 water). The place is amazing and the decoration is really fine. Pumpkin fish soup was 'fusion' not in the best way. Prawns were good but cost €33. Seychelles fruit bat (€47) was simply unenjoyable. The stuff was incompetent: e.g. taking plates and glasses without asking, not bringing plate, cutlery and napkins for the child (we needed to ask for everything in turn) and ignoring the feedback. Overall, I would only visit the place and not the restaurant. Unless you wand something simple like a cup of tea

Lunch was $145 USD for baked mussels appetizer, fish and prawns platters accompanied with cinnamon white rice, vegetables, and papaya chutney. 2 drinks. All was excellent, full of flavor, and a great view of anse bateau. While expensive, it outclassed other places on the island that were ~$85 USD for 'ok' meals and was worth it.

Food is simply awesome. Fish was fresh, octopus salad was top notch and even devil chicken for kids was really tasty. Also service is quick, attentive. Don't go there without reservation.

Booked an afternoon lunch at Le Rocher Restaurant on Praslin on 22nd October, The hostess greeted us at the entrance and invited us to a table for three. We were greeted with a lovely ocean view and the weather was just perfect. A menu a la cart was presented with a decent selection of drinks and great cuisine options ranging from seafood to meat dishes. The order for drinks were taken and delivered as ordered which was followed by our lunch selections which were nice and flavourful. Customer Service was just wonderful and amongst the best we have experienced by far. Personally one of the highly recommended restaurants on the island.

Place deserves a Michellin star, or two. And nowhere in Europe, dare I say the World, has as incomparable a setting for coctails at sunset then haute cuisine par excellance. Reservations a must. 5pm optimal as first come first serve on table choice so we got the one furthest out towards the rock. My filet mignon and my wife's succulent grilled prawns were the same price, and both come with myriad assortment of side dishes 625RSC each entree +15% tax. Free basket of best plaintains and coconut with drinks. No tipping or added service charge in this country, unlike Europe where 15-2o% is expected and often mandatory. I tipped the lead lady $7 whose service was Platinum standard. Total damage was $118 including two half litre sized fresh squeezed lime juice. Grilled lobster is $120 alone. Liquor and wine prices posted below from menu pics for those interested in intoxicants. Other guests drank South African Roose at about $11 per glass while others we saw had pina coladas and mojitos all served in Prosal friendly sized glasses. No more than 10 couples allowed at a time and no adjacent tables in the open air dining room were occupied. Drinks on the promontory then move inside for the meal. COVID vigilant as temperatures checked and lodging recorded upon entry. This is SOP here. Staff wear masks, patrons only at the cashier booth when paying. The setting is truly priceless asthe attached pics show.

Cocktails at sunset are definitely a must-do however diner it self, even though really good and well served, brings an overpriced bill compared to what’s available on the island. Hostess/waitress was quite rude during the full experience but someone else took over at the end and made us end our diner on a nicer note. This restaurant is mostly for rich people staying in resorts like Raffles, wanting to have a night out.

The best creole curry in Seychelles. We only ordered two main courses but received five dishes as they also bring side dishes! So keep in mind not to over order. It took long to cook the dishes but it was worth the wait. A nice location on the beach. While it may appear a bit pricey compared to other places but we were so blown away by the quality that the price is really justified.

Visited in mid-april for my sister's birthday celebration & they gave us a great table with a gorgeous view! Great service, delicious food & plentiful portions with many side dishes placed on the table. The drinks we ordered were huge and we didn't need to order a second round! I gave one of our servers some candles privately, & they went out of their way to present our dessert with all the candles, singing for the birthday girl. They were more than happy offer us bug spray when we had forgotten ours and help call us a taxi at the end of the night. Before we left they gave my sister a beautiful shell as a parting gift for her birthday, highly recommend!!

we had a late lunch at around 3PM . We had many vegetarians in the group and were served 3 different types of vegetarian dishes. The portion sizes are large. The vegetables and fish and fresh and delicious. The scenery and location is stunning. There is no rush and you can spend your time to watch the sunset. The host and service are very nice and gracious.

Exotic restaurant built on the shore with weirdly beautiful rock formations. Special lime drinks with rum or vodka were a hit. My wife said it was the best margarita ever! Huge delicious mussels and grilled fish and all the trimmings were enough for my wife and I to split. Delightful evening

We were looking for a good place to eat and we were not disappointed! I thought the prices to be a little high at first, but when they started bringing the food, 1 dish is enough for 2 people. Excellent service and excellent food!

Called ahead and was told to come in any time, no reservation was necessary. When we arrived for dinner (the next day) we were very rudely advised that reservations were absolutely required. Looked like a nice place, but withthat attitude I don't think I would have given them my business even if we had been seated.
