I have been here a few times but I will not return ever again. The food is OK but the menu should be changed more often. The service is very very slow and uninterested staff. On top of that, the owner is very rude and...arrogant, especially towards local people. You can better spend your money elsewhere!!More

I've been to La Grande Maison for a dinner, a cocktail and some rum to buy. The cocktail, that I started to sip at the bar, and then at the cosy lounge, was amazing. The dish I order was good as well. It is a...nice place to have the dinner, but it is quite pricey.More

Have a try! Food, wine, drinks, location, the chef, the staff, the quiet and elegant atmosphere. Definitely worth a try.

Great location, beautiful scenery, warm and attentive service. However, the food wasn't so good. We ordered fish and seafood curry which was disappointing since the shrimps were not fresh (probably frozen), the curry sauce was not very tasty and the rice was dry. We also...ordered duo fish, one of the fish (white fish) was undercooked and we had to return it to the pan. In our opinion, overpriced for the below average food we got.More

The look of the restaurant is good. Outdoor seating is proper. The menu has a maximum of seafood and beef dishes. For vegetarians this restaurant is not recommended after asking the staff they informed they could make vegetable curry with rice or vegetable pasta with...guests desired sauce. My husband is vegetarian, so we had to order veg pasta in tomato sauce. I had ordered carry fish and shrimp curry with rice and salad. The rice was very dried up and looked old. The staff are not friendly, even after giving them feedback about the rice they didn’t even apologise. The price is on the higher side, not value for money. The standard of the restaurant is not good. The menu looked worn out, and the bill is not on a printed paper, just written in a plain paper. But food charges so high. The restaurant is not recommended for vegetarians.More

The best food experience we had in the Seychelles by far. Felt like homemade cooking for us, and had dishes that felt like had been made for generations.

Food 5 stars Service not eaven 1 star. It was a disaster! We went there for Celebrating New Year. All guests nice dressed. Service staff in beach clothes with a t-shirt and much too short mini skirt or dirty leggings. No motivated at all. 4...Peoples for 11 tables. We were never refilled and we always had to ask if we wanted something to drink. They preferred to stand together in the corner, chatting, discussing what they would do after work and making fun of individual guests. On the phone, the offer was 7 courses for 1600 rupees. It was effectively 6 courses for 1800 rupees. So a shame for the great location and the fine food We left at 11pm disappointed. We had known the restaurant for years and loved it.More
