Tishreen restaurant is fantastic restaurant, the best in Nazareth, and at par with world standards. Every thing was delicious and priced very reasonable for Israel (Israel being world ripp off champion when it comes to food value). The filet steak with tequila sauce ws superb. So was the chuchen filet in cofee and plum sauce. The house chocktail was cheap... More

If you are interested in dining where locals go for the best representations and novel approaches to local cuisine, this is the place. My favorite is the salad with baby cactus paddles but my party had everything from the lamb to the Arabic pizza with chicken and there were no complaints in a party of 20! I liked this location... Delicious dinner on a busy Saturday evening. The space is a renovated old building which houses tables in several different rooms or enclaves - this helps with reducing noise, whilst still maintaining the atmosphere. Starting with a fig and cactus salad which was enough for two, and for main the lamb chops and the lamb kofta. This meat was slightly... More

The quality of the food is simply unsurpassed. Traditional dishes in modern adaptations. Prices are moderate for the great quality. The service is very good and friendly. People speak English fluently. Service is not included in the price so you are asked to leave a tip. Very American in a way. Serves alcoholic beverage.

Took a weekend with my wife. Checked tripadvisor and went to Tishrin. We booked reservation and took our seat (although nobody seems to acknowledge our reservation). Service was excellent. Atmosphere - superb. We took first courses - taboule salad and eggplant. Both came in few minutes. Before we could say something - main courses arrived - hot from the wood... More

Named after the month it was opened in 2004 ( tishreen is Arabic for October) this sophisticated restaurant has an autumnal atmosphere with its straw-encrusted walls lined with antiques and wine bottles. Locals enjoying long lunches and late dinners order Mediterranean-inspired dishes from the mosaic-tiled wood oven which turns out 'aborigine (aubergine) stuffed with pesto and cheese' as well as excellent muhammar , an Arabic pizza topped with chicken and onion slices
