Bayat Restaurant

Location and contact

Bayat is a great little restaurant, with some tasty dishes, a young, lively atmosphere and a big selection of alcohol (the place is owned by Christians, hence the free-flowing alcohol - including Taibe beer, the only real Palestinian beer). Choose to sit outside if it's not too hot (and join the smokers), or sit inside/at the bar. With friendly and tri-lingual staff (Arabic, English, Hebrew), this is an excellent place to take some respite from the tourist trail in Nazareth.

In the middle of the hustle and bustle that is modern-day Nazareth, where aesthetics and charm, as well as creativity and innovation, seem to come in short supply, this place was a lovely surprise. The place and menu are simple enough, but offer a hipster-like...More

Me and my family visited this place and I can rommend it! We ate 5 different dishes and everything was delicious. We left empty plates so it means it was good choice :) on top of that you can expect very friendly waitresses :)

Although the place might look like a bar on the first glance, the food served was truly excellent. I can particularly recommand the chicken salad, one of the best salads I have ever had (big portion, a lot of chicken, excellent sauce). Moreover, the stuff...More

Bayat is so convenient to the guesthouse where I stayed, but that is just the first reason I visited multiple times while in Nazareth. There is no downside to this place! The staff is friendly and suitably attentive, the food is fresh and delicious, and...More
