Full menu of BBQ meats. Staff was energetic and friendly. Great value with a large selection of foods. Inside and Outside dinning areas and the service was fast. The Cobbler for dessert was a good treat.

En route from Carlsbed Caverns to Alamogordo, we stopped at Henry's, for some BBQ. The place doesn't disappoint, and it should be on any list for "Good Eats", when traveling near Roswell, Carlsbed or Alamogordo. Try the #1 Combo, which is a deliciously-priced $9.95. For this price one gets a half pound of meat. Best of all, the staff lets... More

Great barbeque place. The staff was very friendly, food was hot and fast! Outside dining available. The inside was clean and organized.

Traveling through Artesia,NM, on our way to Carlsbad Caverns May 11, 2016 - stopped here for lunch. Best ever green chili brisket my wife and I ever had. No grease. Flavor is spectacular. Also had the beans and split the loaded baked potato. Be sure and try the home made vanilla ice cream. Very reasonable prices. Owner came out and... More

I can't say enough about how awesome the BBQ was here. I had the Monster Rib platter with greens and a three bean and sausage side. Incredible is the only way to describe it. Some friends convinced me to go to Henry's instead of another place I wanted to eat at, and I was like "BBQ, what's the big deal?".... More

This is my favorite place in town....but I also love BBQ. The turkey is great, ribs are great, brisket is lean but that's how I like it. The sauce is great with a variety of hot sauce near where the silverware is to spice things up if you like. It's not fancy like the Adobe Rose and they don't serve... More

This is a warm and inviting dine-in or take-out restaurant in Artesia that is sure to satisfy your palate if you're craving some southern style barbecue. The establishment isn't humongous but it's decent-sized that could fit probably 8 or 10 families of 4 easily. The staff is courteous and friendly as well. I decided on trying their pork ribs and... I have visited Rudy's many times and enjoyed it, but in my opinion Henry's is even better. I was in town for 6 weeks and stopped by once a week. Great brisket, great ribs, and even great sweet baked beans. I wish I lived closer to go back more

Pretty good food and reasonable prices. The staff couldn't be better. I was kidding my server about "guaranteeing" his food recommendation, and he said "If you don't like it, I'll swap it out as we really want you to be happy with your meal." I know he meant it. Had a memorable overall experience, even if the food wasn't to... More

I have nothing against the food at Henry's, per se... it's decent barbecue fare, typical of what you'd expect from a local joint in a non-barbecue state. Neither great nor terrible. The chicken is dry, the brisket lacks flavor, etc., but nothing that can't be improved with a dose of sauce. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean.... More
