This fish and Middle Eastern food restaurant sits right on the water, and also has a large indoor sitting area. Its built for crowds, with all the tables lined up in rows. We're been here at least three times with out-of-town guests and they've never disappointed. The seafood is fresh, the salads are tasty, the water, lemonade and beer are... More

Great seafood restaurant, freshest salad, the absolute best calamari around . . . icy cold beer and life is good!

The best thing about it is it's location. Sitting on the water with fish swimming on view. The food is oriental and not bad for it's type.

If you are a fan of mediaeval history then Akko has it all. Visiting in the heat of June, we were glad to find a cool spot literally suspended over the waters of the Mediterranean to sit down and have a leisurely lunch. The sea bass was superb, the service relaxed, and as local boys jumped off the rocks, tourists... More

The waterside view is pleasant and you can watch the fish come to eat the pitta bread being thrown into the sea The service is quick & good Good selection on the menu, not just fish Nice salads You will have to park and walk through the old city to get to the restaurant

You should come here for the great view of the port and the coming and going of the tourist boats filled with locals and tourists. The Humus with Pine Nuts and the Eggplant dishes were good but not great. This is Israel so you have to ask for service: which I think is good. No one rushes you to order... More

I love this restaurant, even if the service can be awful and the basic meals are overpriced. There's something about it's faded 1980s, open-air vibe. Nothing quite like having a mediocre mixed fish plate, a beer, and some olives as you watch the sunset on the sea. Go to Uri Buri for quality, then go to Abu Christo for the... More

I love sitting by the sea, watching the boys jumping from the ancient wall to the water, children playing, throwing pita bread to the fish. Using the clean toilet... as for the food - for a vegan gluten free diet the are a lot of possibilities - traditional arab salads mainly.

It was the first Saturday after a terrible week of rain, winds and in some parts, snow. Acre was relatively "slow", tourists were few and the place was great to have a walk through. The Shuk wasn't crowded and it was a delight. We aimed for Abu Christo. 12.30, the (enormous) place had only a few guests. We took a... More
