My friends told me about this place. Curiously, I visited the place this morning. Wow, crowded! Instantly I feel different atmosphere: pleasant, a kind of place for talking to your fellows in the morning, old-town feeling. I'm happy to be here, not only because the fried kwetiau and rice-noodle is good but also because the coffee is better than the... More

I enjoyed the Nasi Gurih, which is cucumber, coconut fragrant rice, sheddered potato, chips and sunny side up, always ask the generous vendor for more and more sambal. Beside Nasi Gurih, the butter - peanut butter - kaya toast is also mouth watering. The bread is soft and its made with traditional toaster, so there is a special aroma coming... More

You should try the coffee in any way you want: black, with sweet condensed milk. Serve it hot or cold. Anyway is nice. The toast is great. The srikaya was homemade. So it's not too sweet. Everything was just right

I brought my family for breakfast and we only impressed with the fried noodle. The toast and hot tea taste was so so nothing special & i think the prices is too expensive

Coffee is nice, but more important the snacks are delicious, including fried kwetiaw and noodles. Imagine, drinking coffee, take srikaya bread, accompanied with fried kwetiaw while you reading newspaper.....

The coffee is awesome, Pak Apek's family is super nice and any time I have visitors or volunteers come through, we take them here. It's across from the Hindu Pajak and really is just "a hole in the wall", but through which you can see some of the better things about Medan. Pak Aneh makes a mean martabak in the... More

Do not be beguiled by its facade, located just infront of the Hindu market. some would have missed it completely. You would have thought it is just a small, old shop, selling some cheap coffee. Just look a little closer again at the customers in the shop! The place is always full in the morning. Most of the time, you... More

Nice coffee and boiled eggs. After that I took 15 friends walking around the city for 2 km at noon and nobody felt tired and complaining
