Typical food you may found in other region, but with different taste and content. A nice way to have your breakfast. The taste itself a bit plain compared with the Java style. It was unique since it includes banana blossom in it. Beside the Pical,...More

I was so happy that I managed to find a reasonable vegetarian option in the town of Bukittinggi, as I struggled to find plant-based food around Gunung Kerinci a few days ago. This is perhaps one of the best finds for plant-based food.

This is the first time we ate Pical Sikai. It's good but unfortunately it's not spicy. It's a typical west Sumatra salad dish. They also sell lamang tapai, lontong and others stuff.
