This rumah makan serves really absolute delicious fish dishes. We had oci woku. Woku is a traditional Manado sauce and this one with the oci fish was delightful. Also our udang goreng mentega and goropa bakar and the 3 sambalans that accompanied the dish were...beyond expectations. Don’t miss this place if in the neighborhood 😋More

Went there for lunch and we have made our order before arriving. Still we waited for a while before our food came. Recommended menus: * Ikan bobara bakar (barbeque bobara fish) - recommended * Ikan woku (garoupa cooked in yellow coconut milk soup) - recommended *...Perkedel Nike (small fish fritter) - very recommended * Ikan tude (barbeque tude fish) - just okay * Ikan garoupa salad asam manis (sour sweet garoupa) - very recommended All food are yummy. Among all restaurants that I have tried, this is the second best restaurant after City Extra.More

The seafood is quite fresh. The price is not too expensive. The service is a little bit longer. The taste is ok, and unfortunately they do not have crabs.

Went here for lunch with my big family during our holiday in Manado. We decided to give this place a try because of the good review. We ordered grilled oci, fried oci, grilled bobara, sour garoupa fish soup, corn fritter & nike fritter. For the...fritter, I like the corn better. As for the fish dishes, all of them are great. The grilled fishes are nice & juicy, and the fish soup is also awesome. We also ordered es raja oci & es brenebon durian for dessert. Out of the two, I prefer the latter. Price wise, it is quite economical. But the waiting time for the food was rather long.More

Raja Oci is a bit unique to me, the restaurant actually could served much more delicious Manadonese recipes that authentic such as goropa woku, baby gt dabu dabu sambal, snapper rica rica style, pakis fried steer, goropa soup etc. But they made this mackarel (saltened...a little bit and grilled it) as their supreme menu called oci. I just dont get it man. Perhaps korean mackarel style or thai mackarel dishes is much better than oci. Anyway they already famous so lets talk something else. As to the cleanliness, the resto is just standard, got some wastafel, paper tissue, standard toilet and yes there is an aircon room for those whom cant stand Manado heat. Price is moderate compare to city extra or wisata bahari or bambuden. For me interm of value for money, raja oci is betterMore

Had a fish which came in a curry, rice and the tomato salad. We had ordered medium size and it was plenty between the 2 of us. We left thinking what a lovely tasty meal but unfortunately my partner and I during the night woke...up within minutes of each other urgently needing the bathroom. This was the only food we’d eaten that day, maybe we were just unlucky.More

We had Packet Oci IDR 27,500, Oci Kuah Asam (Oci fish and soup) IDR 17,000, Nasih Putih (rice) IDR 6,000 and coke IDR 6,000. For two, the total bill was IDR 63,000 ($4.80). We thought the food was good and the amount was fulfilling. We...went the next day and ordered Goropa Kuah Asam (Grouper fish and soup) IDR 90,000, Bobara Woku (Bobara fish in Minhasa styled cooked called Woku) IDR 95,000, two Nasih Putih (Plain white rice) IDR 12,000 but the amount of food was way too much, almost three people could have this meal. The total bill for two was IDR 223,300 ($16.75). It was still cheap compared to the amount of food that was provided. Highly recommend if you like fish. There are non A/C as well as A/C seats, but A/C seats are limited, so go early (for lunch or dinner) to get the seats in the A/C room. Also, make sure you mention "NOT SPICY" (Tidak Pedas in Bahasa) as Minhasa food can be very spicy.More

if you not familiar with seafood, maybe you will not this restaurant. because oci is not a fish that comfortable to eat because they have fishbone everywhere. not big fishbone but annoying. your hand need to get dirty if you want to eat oci. some...indonesia tourist probably more familiar with "ikan kembung".. which is similar with oci. their sambal (hot sauce) is delicious.. quite cheap..More
