We are not familiar with indonesian food and not a big fan of fish so we went for fried rice with lamb and fried chicken rice. We can say that street food stalls cook better at very cheaper price. Place is exclusive and accomodating but the price and food put us off.

We had brunch here for closing our workshop in Surabaya. We choose this restaurant because of its large and its location is close to the airport, so we can manage our time better before we leave the city. The food is good, price is reasonable and food ready quickly. Service also good.

Well lit, airy, and spacious. Nicely located along main road leading to Pasuruan and across a few budget hotels. Went at almost 9pm - place was not busy. Good food, good portion, good service, reasonable price and big plus for us, travellers, is the bakery corner which was a great alternative to those yet to appreciate rich, spicy food. Non-spicy... having lunch with colleague at this place was satisfied. Near with juanda airport, and easy access from surabaya, make this restaurant very strategis. Good price, good serve and services. Its good for you who wanna try a traditional food in Java.

Authentic and must-try resto in Surabaya. The one which pretty crowded is the one near the airport. Most of the visitors are eating with colleagues or clients, I guess. I also saw some foreign people here. Recommended: Tahu Tek and Rujak Cingur (taste it for the 1st time here and decide that I don't like this kind of food, but... More

Awesome place to eat. If you like modern Indonesian food, this is the place to go. I recommend the Pesmol and Nasi Goreng Jawa.

I was first introduce to Tempo Doeloe in early 2012 my first visit to Surabaya. From there is a must to stop by Tempo Doeloe for my favorite deep fried Carp fish deep with their special sambal chilli. Is a must to try if you are visiting them for the first time. My next favorite is sambal kangkong vegetable. The... More
