This is an old, but very well maintained restaurant. The food itself is quite tasty e.g. Bestik lidah, sop buntut, poffertjes, etc. The price is not cheap, but not too expensive as well. The ambience of the restaurant is nice. The performance of the staff would need to be improved!

Lots of history in this restaurant, with Dutch architecture and colonial history. The owners have worked hard to preserve the place. But the menu and the service are rather poor. Visit the restaurant for the ambience, high ceiling and pictures; but unfortunately not for the food. Limited to street side parking only and the restaurant entrance may not impress. Service... I only had drinks here but had one of the most delicious authentically made hot lemon tea. The cafe is so charming and old school.. love the vibe. Friendly service staff too. I wish i ate here.

I usually come here for poffertjes and kroket, Those two are my fav. They serve old times cakes and cookies and the taste is right. The dishes for luch is also good. But they serve hot tea in a tall glass with straw. Quite a strange way to enjoy tea with those nice snacks.

Nice food and classic resto. The location was strategic, near simpang lima. You can get variance food.

I heard many times about this place and so curious to go here. But, this place below my expectation. All I know that home made ice cream is their masterpiece, but waitress seems doesnt know well. I asked what the most favorite flavor, they said all of them. I dont eat main course so i dont know its taste. Maybe... More

The restaurant has been around for 80 years. The interior is the dutch colonial interior. The menu has remained unchanged since the shop opened. The food itself isnt that good. Expensive. Waiters cant smile.

Read from the tripadvisor review and went to take dinner at there. The pork steak is so far ok. The cake is just normal. Enjoy the coffee and sitting at there to feel and going back to the old days.

The restaurant just celebrated 80th birthday. High ceiling and a large dining hall remind us the Dutch colonial era in Indonesia. This long-history restaurant has an unique atmosphere and the old waiter smiled us all the time... I must have taken a photo of him !! The steak with mushroom sauce is decent taste which may take you back to... More
