Since I live in Bandung, Nasi Bancakan is one of our favorites resto. Sometime me and my friends went there for lunch and sometimes I went there with my family. The have various menu of sundanese food such as ikan asin, nasi liwet, sambel and etc with reasonable price, but the taste was average.

This was my first time going to Nasi Bancakan after my sister gave a good review about the place. However, I did not get the same excitement as she was. The food was tasteless and the place was dirty, especially the food tray. However, the seat comes with shorter leg which is very comfortable for my 2yo and even us... More

My friends brought me here for lunch and I had no idea what to expect going in. I was pleased to find a colorful array of various food presented in a very traditional manner and environment. I can't speak directly to its authenticity, but according to my Indonesian friends it is one of their favorite places to visit in Bandung.... More

I finaly visited the resto after several recommendation from friends who are familiar with Bandung city. We found its nice to have sundanese in traditional way of service and this restaurant did well on that. However the food was all too sweet, the whole family agreed with that. Doesnt really taste like usual sundanese taste more like central javanese food.... More

The food is 100% authentic Sundanese food. Some of them are hard to find anywhere but here, such as: tutut rebus, kue balok, etc. The plate and mug are very unique, typically used in the village in many area of Indonesia, including in West Java. Don´t expect to eat peacefully here. The crowdedness is another characteristic of this place. Will... More

Came here with a friend. It was in afternoon. The food was good and cheap. Spoon, plates, mugs are in old Indonesian style. So unique. The restaurant is quite dark, in my own opinion. No problem to come back again.

An affordable Sundanese Restaurant with a good variety of dishes ($3 for a good complete meals: rice+protein+vegie+plain tea). It serves food in an old type of plate (piring kaleng). No aircon.
