Variety kinds of food with local sunda taste worth it and not too expensive. Love the old eatery so much that reminds me of old days. Sambel oncom is very delicious.

This type of Sundanese restaurant is pretty popular and some of the food are pretty nice, while some are just decent. However, I found that cleanliness may have to improve as there are quite a lot of flies around. Prices are pretty cheap so it is always crowded during lunch time - better to arrive early or be there for... More

I really like to eat here, whenever it is, lunch or dinner. They always have my favorite menu: Semur Jengkol. Beside the traditional Sundanese dishes, they furnished the resto with traditional ambient also. The steel plates, tea pot, and bamboo. They seems to have problem with the aging plates. Please choose carefully.

First sight: it was so fulland there was long queue. The outside view does not seem so traditional, but it would be totally different when you entered the dining room; wooden table and chair at middle section, and "lesehan" style at both left and side section. At my point of view, there were no modern utensils to dine or drink;... More

Since I live in Bandung, Nasi Bancakan is one of our favorites resto. Sometime me and my friends went there for lunch and sometimes I went there with my family. The have various menu of sundanese food such as ikan asin, nasi liwet, sambel and etc with reasonable price, but the taste was average.

This was my first time going to Nasi Bancakan after my sister gave a good review about the place. However, I did not get the same excitement as she was. The food was tasteless and the place was dirty, especially the food tray. However, the seat comes with shorter leg which is very comfortable for my 2yo and even us... More

My friends brought me here for lunch and I had no idea what to expect going in. I was pleased to find a colorful array of various food presented in a very traditional manner and environment. I can't speak directly to its authenticity, but according to my Indonesian friends it is one of their favorite places to visit in Bandung.... More
