One of the best vegan restaurants around in Bali Ubud . Found Moksa accidentally while walking around paddy fields near where I stayed. Nice ambiance with friendly service rendered by the service staffs. Interesting set of food menu which makes me wanting to come back...for more. I chosen seaweed salad and curry which taste better than I expected. It’s fresh and the spice level just right for me. Two days later I went Moksa again before I left Ubud for Canggu. If you fancy vegan diet and around in Ubud Sanyan , do try it out.More

This is my favourite restaurant of all time. Every time I am coming to Ubud I make sure I have at list 1 meal there. I am not a vegeterian but the food from the chef Madé Runatha is amazing and a bomb of flavour!...I realised my wish, I took a cooking class with him and it was truly incredible. I learn so much and not just about incredible cooking but although about self care, healthy lifestyle and easy steps to make my life better. Thanks Madé, hope to see you again! We had lunch and ordered Soy fish N' chips, also Ubud Souvlaki (mushroom served with potato bread, veg and special sauce). For me, the Souvlaki ones are expected I love everything on the plate. The ambience is great and it is very close to our...stay (Arya Arkananta).More

Having read all of the positive reviews on this restaurant, I have to give it the benefit of the doubt that I just picked the wrong dish. My husband and I dined here recently, neither of us are vegans but are adventurous with food and...know good from bad. I ordered the open Taco and my husband a dish that looked like a creamy pasta with mushroom. My dish was to say the least inedible I have never eaten such a bitter unpalatable dish in a restaurant in my life. When the waitress could see I had only eaten a couple of mouthfuls, she was very attentive and offered a replacement, I ended up with the same as my husband but didn’t enjoy that, but it was 100% on the taco. I’m not bagging the restaurant as the surroundings and ambience were beautiful, just a word of warning do not order the open Taco if it is on the menu. I am still trying to work out why it was so bitter the actual shell was terrible as well as the filling.More

Moksa is a little gem. Off the tourist path (down a small road near some rice fields) and we’ll worth the visit. I am not vegan but found the food delicious. Such fabulous flavours. Highly recommend a visit. Don’t miss the ice cream!More

I never knew vegan could taste so good. I absolutely loved eating here and our group went back three times and could have easily eaten there every day. There were so many delicious dishes on offer, all of which were a flavour sensation. We were...a group of 7, so we were able to try so many dishes and each one was just incredible. So much so, that 4 of our group did a cooking class with Chef Made, who took the time to sit with us after our first meal there and answered our many questions. I highly recommend doing the class as well, as he is very generous with his time and knowledge. The stand out dish was the Salt and Pepper Squid. You really do think you are eating squid but you aren't - it's amazing. Can't wait to go back for more, when I'm back in Bali.More

A return after 3 years and the food is still amazing. Dropped in to buy some of their exceptional raw cakes/slices to indulge myself with, got 5 because l couldn't make up my mind and a salad. Went back for dinner the next night. The...water is free, something that is very unusual in Bali. If l had to eat only vegan food for the rest of my life, this is where I'd like to eat.More

Wow! It’s a bit off the beaten path (and I think our driver was a bit lost) but well worth the trip. I had the Live Pizza and it was stunning. So many unexpected flavors came together in a beautiful presentation. The husband had the...Floutos Love, and raved about it- he did share a small bite and I can see why he only offered a small bite, I would want that all for myself as well. We topped it all off by sharing a Black Jack Pudding and even though we were stuffed, we finished that also. If we didn’t have to fly home tomorrow, we would eat here again and again!More

We went to the place with a car. Driving ourself, after searching some good place to eat in Ubud. Moksa is our choice because we want the have a vegetarian lunch before going somewhere a bit omnifore 😄 Here is our review: The Trip: Well,...the parking and the road to the restaurant is a bit of a journey: narrow road, parking space for less than 10 car. BUT, the place is awesome! The Place: They have huge garden, semi-open kitchen and nice seating arrangement that emphasis on wellness. We love the freeh air coming from their garden, elevated by good service from the staffs. The Food: They are serious about vegan food. They have an array of food with much to choose. We ended up with 2 appetizers and 2 main meals. Our favourite? - squid salad (light, refreshing) - tofu green curry (warm, hearty) Their tempeh ribs and jackfruit taco are also delicious and very tasty. Well, depending on what you are looking for, all of them I am aure will meet your expectation 😍 We are glad having a vegetarian meals which are so delicious. I hope you tooMore

I have been to Moksa twice and loved it both times. The jackfruit tacos to start are flawless, and I’ve tried the Tempe ribs and aubergine mozzarella. The food is fresh and the staff are lovely and friendly. Highly recommend for outdoor chill vibes and...incredible vegan food!!!More
