Every time I visit Ubud I go to this restaurant. I love the authentic food and the beautiful setting. The gardens are gorgeous. The Nasi Campur is the best I've ever had. The prices are fabulous too.oh and the cakes they sell at the front are really good too.

I have enjoyed dinner here and, on another occasion, a cake from the bakery. The setting is gorgeous..little pavilions surrounded by ponds and running water. A little more expensive than other places but worth it for the ambience.

Lovely setting. Lovely device. We choose this as it came highly recommended for the smoked duck speciality... We received a three course meal - soup, smoked duck platter and trimmings followed by a pancake all for 500k... Was not expecting that. The duck we got must have been bullied by the bigger ducks when it was growing up because it... More

Good lunch. Not the cheapest warung but nice, clean, and good service. A more upmarket offering with class.

Thank Magste

Cafe Wayan and Bakery Established in 1986 We are happy to have had so many nice guests come to enjoy our food for over 30 years. Cafe Wayan started as a small warung (a local food stall) where Ibu Wayan sold black rice pudding and coffee to the rice farmers on what has now become Monkey Forest Road. Tourist began walking down "the path" to the Monkey Forest and stopped by for a coffee, snacks or to buy peanuts for the monkeys. Ibu Wayans always love to cook as a child and soon the menu began to expand. Return friends to Ubud began helping with recipes of western dishes as long term visitors and residents sometimes miss their own food too. Ibu Wayan began traveling abroad and learned more western cooking with Chef Joe Schultz of India Joes's restaurant in Santa Cruz, California and also learned the art of Thai cuisine in Bangkok.
