The hosts were warm and friendly, atmosphere was humble and inviting. The DRINKS! The mint squash and a fresh passionfruit juice are quite easily up there with the nicest drinks we have ever had. The food was fresh, authentic and tasty. If you dont like spice say NO CHILLI! Prices are great. Great way to give money to the local... More

One of the better Balinese places to eat in this area, outside Ubud town centre. Unless you were staying around the area or coming for a day's visit, it would be quite a walk to this place BUT if you are here, it is well worth the visit. They serve fabulous Balinese Cusine and the atmosphere is just as good.... More

We went for dinner and had the crispy duck which was dry and over cooked. The prices are not that low and the overall quality is not that good. There are better places to eat in Ubud.

The location is great, surrounded by the paddy fields. Unfortunately we went there for late dinner, which was a mistake since you ca't really appreciate the surroundings since it is too dark and once we were seated we discovered huge lizards right above us. In order to avoid Lizard poop on us or our food we changed seats, unfortunately the... More

While recently staying in the Petulu area north of Ubud for 2 weeks, I visited Padi Organic may be 15 times, for lunch or diner, or just coffee and snacks. Why bother going down to Ubud? The setting is great, quiet, with several bale, a high terrace on the roof, or tables, to enjoy different views of the rice fields... More

We had a cooking class learning how to make some staple Indonesian food. It was all hosted in an amazing location surrounded by rice fields and amazing gardens. The whole experience was brilliant, just the right amount of involvement and instruction. Everyone was super friendly. I look forward to recreating some of the recipes. At the end we ate what... Paid Organic was a few minutes walk from where we were staying (the Anusura Villas). The food and drinks were reasonably priced and of good quality with friendly wait staff.

Just coming back from this warung type restaurant - it is actually a very nice place to sit during the day as it is set among the rice fields, you can see the people working in the fields and hear the water flowing around. None of these valid after dark, of course The name of the restaurant leads to healthy... More
