Burgers and duck!

Great restaurant after hitting the Monkey forest. They have a good variety of food and drinks. My family all had burgers, which they said were really good. I had the crispy duck with rice, it was delicious, perfectly crispy and minimal fat. I had two Arak attack drinks and my wife had the beer, not Bitang, but I can't remember the name. The staff was attentive and welcoming and if we had the chance, we would definitely visit again! Sorry I didn't get a picture of the duck, I was hungry.

Friendly little restaurant

Our hotel was a little way out of town and we had to walk through monkey forest and then climb the hill. This friendly little bar restaurant was on the left-hand side and we needed refreshment so we called in. We were made welcome and took a seat at a table by the road, which is very entertaining, as you can watch all the local goings on. we were quickly brought large beers with glasses of ice and these recharged our batteries and went down extremely well. Feeling revived we carried on our climb and would definitely come back here to eat as well.

best dinner in Ubud! we returned two dinners in a row, you can't resist the delicious food at this restaurant! they offer truly exceptional typical Indonesian/Balinese dishes such as sweet and sour chicken and crispy duck, a must try!! The place is really nice, with a quiet and welcoming internal garden the staff very kind and helpful! absolutely recommended!!

Group of 10 friends for dinner. Best Tuna and avocado salad plus, staff and service top rate. Great range of cocktails, non-alcoholic and juices. We all enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Best chicken satay in Ubud

Absolutely the best chicken satay that we had in the whole Ubud! Perfect balance of taste and spiciness, the peanut sauce was amazing. We were here 4 times during 5 days in Ubud. Highly recommended as a great lunch near Monkey Forrest and also for a dinner (great, romantic garden)

Garden with a chilled atmosphere - great food range.

Lovely atmosphere - a wide range of choices and fab cocktails. The gardens offered a nice alternative with a relaxed atmosphere. Vegetarian and fish dishes were plentiful and competitively priced.

My favourite spot in Ubud

This cafe and restaurant has a very beautiful and relaxed garden 🪴 and surprise there are free roaming bunnies 🐰 We discovered that spot in 2013 and returned after ten years directly on our first night of the holiday. It’s still beautiful and a bit magical

When we're in Ubud we always visit Maha. Good food and drinks, friendly staff and the prices are reasonable. They also have money exchange with no commission and can organise tours if you wish.

We had dinner and breakfast here and found it to be a very good restaurant. You can sit at the front by the street or in a garden at the rear and it’s great to have a choice. The food and the service was very good and the prices were very reasonable. A good place to relax and enjoy a drink and a meal.

Great Garden Terrible Food

So I always want to support local businesses and I would only review low if I felt like it truly warranted it. Positives - Nice garden out back for relaxing - Baby Chair provided Negatives - THE FOOD. It falls way below Bali and Ubud standards and is expensive for what it is. I ordered a local curry and it was the most watery tasteless dish I have ever eaten (if you can not get local food right then it says it all to me). My wife’s food did not fair any better. It really is such a shame because it could be such a nice little spot but instead it is one to avoid. Beer is also more expensive than most other places.
