This little cafe serves the freshest, tastiest food with excellent service. A cosy atmosphere and varied menu. Best mashed potatoes I've ever had!

Out of all the coffee I have tried in Bali, this is definitely the best!! The breakfast was also delicious. I would definitely go back!

Like many places in Ubud, this cafe has an extensive breakfast menu (which seems to be served all day) as well as a complete lunch/dinner menu. There is plenty for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters. We are coffee snobs and the latte did not disappoint! We ordered an egg dish, vegetarian bruschetta, and their housemade hummus. The spinach & mushroom... More

Very plain menu. No Fans, ended up going for a cold meat and cheese platter and Chicken and yoghurt curry, The curry was nice but I was really over chicken and nothing else really took my fancy. It was all ok but I will not return also a bit overpriced

I had brunch with salad, smoothies and coffee. Overall this place is a hidden gems in ubud. Far from bustling traffic jam and and family and pets friendly. Spent for hours but not get bored at all.

I have lived in Bali part time for 25 years. When I'm here I live at Sari Bamboo which also has great food. My favorite restaurant in the area is Vespa. I often meet there with my friends because they have the best coffee and a great variety of food at reasonable prices. There is something for everybody. It's also... More

We ate here many times for breakfast and dinner. A great variety of food that suited our whole family and meant we were never bored. Coffee was also fantastic.

In December 2011, after the renovation of a disused picture gallery in the small village of Penestanan Kaja, near Ubud, Bali, Cafe Vespa opened its doors to the general public. The space could be described as small, unintimidating and relaxing, with friendly and efficient staff. Our in-house bakery provides fresh bread, croissants and cakes, with the kitchen also cooking up a varied breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Cafe Vespa prides itself, in what we believe to be one of the best coffees in Bali. We describe it as a velvety, full-bodied, artisan style coffee, prevalent in cafes from London to Australia. Our own 100% Arabica blend of Indonesian Toraja, Aceh Gao and Bali Kintamani is roasted to our specifications and delivered freshly roasted to us each week. For additional freshness each cup is freshly ground and served with the best quality milk. For those who do not do coffee, Vespa also has one of the best choices of teas, both healthy and classic. For the fruit and veggie drinkers there's a great range of sugar and ice-free juices. From a cultural standpoint Cafe Vespa not only provides great food and beverages but also serves as a centre for social interaction: the cafe gives visitors a place to congregate, talk, write, read, entertain one another, or pass the time on an ipad. The WiFi is also pretty good.
