This is why I went to this warung. And the rendang was indeed good. For me it could have been more 'Indonesian', but my Dutch friends really loved it! The ambiance is cosy.

We went to Bernadette waroeng because it was recommended by the lonely planet. Well, given the choice if restaurants you now have in ubud, this one did not stand. The food was ok, not so amazing that one could forget about the surroundings. We sat on the top floor and the floor was dirty, napkins from past customers on the... More

As a fan of rendang, I was attracted to this Warung from the reviews. Everything we tried was delicious and our daughters, who are both vegan, had many delicious options on the menu, including a rendang. We were all well pleased, and the cost was very fair.

We used to go to their old locale everytime we came to Ubud for their signature rendang and the relaxed atmosphere. Now that they've relocated to their current premise along the main Gootama drag, the rendang has lost its lustre. The small portion of meat came swimming in a pool of grease and the accompaniments that came along with it... More

My friends and i went here for a late lunch. We all had the gado gado, which was very good! The staff is friendly, and the interior is very original.

Ate dinner at Waroeng Bernadette and it was fantastic. The service was fast and attentive without being in your face. The atmosphere being part of a gallery was really great. The food was excellent especially their signature slow cooked beef dish. Would highly recommend when looking for a god feed in Ubud.

We actually stopped here because the place and the menu seemed appealing, as we didn't know that it is rated as a Lonely Planet / Trip advisor "Top choice". The signature dish (beef rendang) was excellent, as well as the other dishes we've tried and the fruit juices were freshly squeezed and rich in flavor. The staff were very friendly... More

Located in the center, close to the market, with a very eclectic style: the food is amazing, the mood very peculiar, I really enjoyed my dinner here! And also you can buy every object you see inside!

I pride myself on my home cooked Daging Rendang however must concede that Bernadette's is better! Every dish we had here was delicious. The Indonesian staples are served with a creative twist. It's several rungs above the average warung. Funky fitout too.

Found this place by chance after wandering the streets of Ubud. We had the samosas to start followed by the oxtail soup and beef rendang. All delicious. Staff friendly but could have been more attentive.. They forgot one dish we had ordered and as we sitting at the bench facing the street it wasn't always easy to grab their attention.... More
