This is a cute quirky little place with tasty Indo food. The corn fritters, chick satay were great & the beef rendang was excellent

Great food and very friendly staff. We came with a one year old and despite there being no high chairs the staff were extremely keen to take him off our hands so that we could eat. Very helpful considering the heat!!

We stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant and had beef rendang for lunch. It was so good we returned a few days later for dinner. Everything we ate and drank was tasty and authentic but nothing beat the beef rendang. Go and try it!!

We both had the rendang- one beef and one jackfruit. Generous sized serves. Nicely presented. Delish.

Came here for the beef rendang and was not disappointed. It's hard to find a good rendang in the more local places, so I was happy to have found Bernadette's. Rest however is average, drinks did not convince me, neither did the dessert. Food has been served within minutes so great if you have only limited time.

Nice decorations, a good spot in a quiet street and according to TripAdvisor a very good restaurant. Maybe we visited on the wrong day or with different expectations, but the starters did not have much flavour and the signature dish (beef Rendang) was quite OK but certainly not outstanding. Prices are reasonable but higher than most surrounding restaurants. Not to... More

We went for the rendang -- which was delicious, as was the gado gado. But the corn fritters are a must, as are the various noodle dishes. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere good as you watch the pedestrians walk by.

Good place to visit for a meal in a good atmosphere and interesting interior. Food was good but after all recommendations i expected it to be better. I was a little bit disapointed to get meal with chicken with only 5 tiny bits of meat ;)

Thank Ela Paulina D

It has always been Bernadette's dream to open a waroeng that serves her childhood favorite dishes growing up in Java, made the way her mother, grandmother and aunties used to make it.

Adrienne has been exporting Indonesian handicrafts to clients all over the world since she moved to Bali in 1992. For the first time her creations have been made available in Bali in the Waroeng.

Adrienne and Bernadette have joined together to create a unique dining experience in a unique setting.
