Simple and delicious

When we first visited Melting Wok they were fully booked. The next day we went for dinner and it was delicious. They have a very simple menu and the flavours were pretty amazing. Would recommend the green papaya salad. I'd like to go here again next time we visit Ubud

Personally, I thought the food was alright. I went with my Indonesian friend and she said the same thing. But it wasn't bad, defiantly worth trying. A few things are annoying about the restaurant, 1. The size is extremely small so it's best going well before 6:30 or make a reservation. 2. They keep asking about the food. I'm sure... More

My partner and I went here for dinner tonight and absolutely loved it. Tried calling in the afternoon to book and they didn't have an opening until 9. Definitely make a reservation (a day or so in advance if you can)! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Incredible food and so reasonably priced. Owner comes out and interacts with... More

Girlfriend and I went here on the recommendation of a local guide and it was fantastic. Two curries, drinks, and one of the best crepes I've ever had and it was so cheap. The curries were delicious and had lots of flavor, highly recommend it.

A wonderful dinner with friends (9 of us!) made for a challenging seating arrangement. But with friendly staff and a few more chairs, we crowded around a corner table and fed ourselves well. Most had the curry - chicken or tempeh - and all were very happy! Some of our party knew to leave room for the restaurant's renowned desserts,... More

Went there for lunch, luckily they have space for three, we tried three different dishes, the special of the day was good, but their basic menu was better at that time. The service for local warung was exceptional Thank you

The menu isn't big but the flavours are! We were recommended this small dining place by friends and it was for us a hidden gem. For dinner book ahead to be sure to get the food pleasure. It's cash only but you won't need much :-)

We booked the day before, as we read on trip advisor this small place gets booked out...and it does. We were late (almost 30 minutes) as I was having trouble with ATMs in Ubud, and our table wasn't available. The owner a lovely french lady was really so apologetic about the situation, despite the fact it was my fault for... More

We were recommended to this place as we love lots of flavour and love our food! Melting wok has a small menu but it doesn't need anything else as the few meals it has are packed with Balinese spices and are true flavours of Asia. Meals are very cheap.. Atmosphere and staff are great.. Will definitely eat here again!
