I stayed for 2 weeks in Kaamala Ubud, even the location of Kaamala is near with the restaurant, I really enjoy this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food have an modern presentation with amazing taste. In my view, I may say that it is a little bit overpriced. However, they provide discounts for the visitors and provide such a lovery starter. I really recommend you to come on Saturday and Thursday night, they have “all you can eat” or they call it the barbecue at 7pm. Otherwise, everyday above 7pm, they usually have activities. Oh one more thing, they also have sunset session with free cocktails/mock-tails, I think same day as the barbecue (cmiiw). Recommended Resto in Ubud

Came here for lunch on a whim after the Monkey Forest in Ubud (it's only about a 7 minute walk from each other) and ended up being one of the best restaurants / experiences we had during our whole trip (we stayed here for 4 hours). The design and ambiance were 5 stars with a magnificent infinity pool overlooking forests. Although we weren't guests of Kaamala Resort we were able to enjoy the pool and the poolside amenities. Showers and toilets were clean and modern, and the food was high-end but delicious, although we recommend ordering more dishes as portions are small-medium. Cocktails were nice too! This is a great place to chill in the pool for a couple hours, enjoy some poolside drinks and have a meal. And with Bali only just opening up to tourists in April 2022, you get to enjoy this place without a lot of other patrons jostling for good photo spots in the pool. Also a good place to come and plug in your laptop to the power outlets and do some work as well.

We came from denpasar to celebrate our wedding anniversary at wild air restaurant. Restaurant with a luxurious concept and a very beautiful view, very good service from Candra. Taste of the food is very delicious and shakes the tongue, about the price is also affordable highly recommended for family events

We visited Wild Air based on the Trip Advisor reviews however we were a little disappointed our experience was not up to the level of other visitors. Food was ok taste wise but not good value and not substantial. Ceasar salad was interesting presentation but not a classic flavour. Fish in ginger sauce very salty. Creme brulee although flavour ok, was undercooked. The bill took over 20 minutes to prepare even though we asked three times we would like the bill to pay. Overall disappointed. The staff are very friendly however and seem to be trying their best. Just the efficiency, and lack of value for money that is letting down our experience.

The good: They have plenty of parking. Food was pretty tasty and beautifully presented. Nice view. The bad: Service takes about 30 mins to bring the drinks. Food took another hour of waiting and only a couple of dishes came at a time (we were 7), when some were finished, others hadn’t started eating. It is very overpriced, prices are at least 2 or 3 times what comparable items are in other good restaurants. Some things never made it o the table (condiments). The ugly: Only one toilet works in the restroom area. That toilet is soooo dirty and stinky, it will take your appetite away and leave you disgusted for the rest of your stay in Bali.

Not recommended. They adviced us to order the pork belly. The the pork belly was ‘sold out’, but he restaurant was empty. Staff was constantly busy with a service elevator which made a lot of noise (loud beeping) that spoiled the serene setting. While having the main course, we heard there was a possibility for a last order. We wanted to try the panacotta, but that was also ‘sold out’ (or they wanted to close quickly?). The Kung Pao chicken was more like a sweet and sour chicken, which was mediocre at best.

We chose Wild Air due to great reviews and photos. Unfortunately, the service was not great. We had ordered the oxtail soup, the crispy duck and the pork belly dishes. It was clear that the cooks had made them at the same time. We had not finished our soup when we were told our mains were ready. The egg in the pork belly dish was extremely cold and the crispy duck was lukewarm at best. My guess is it was sitting on the bar for a while. We also ordered the mushroom soup while waiting for the pork belly dish to be heated up. That was really good. Considering it was the most expensive meal we had and was meant to be fine dining, it was not worth it.

This would have been a 5 star if the staff were better at their jobs. We were split over two tables and had completely different experiences. One table got their drinks and food well before we got our drinks. Our waiter had to double check our orders and then came back five minutes later (once the other table had their drinks) to reconfirm our orders again. Starters and mains were ordered to come together however we had to ask for the mains to come well after the starters were eaten. Even payment was tricky as the waiter kept disappearing… location is great. Food also kind of lacking

We made reservations here, specifying that we were coming for our anniversary dinner. We invested in the hour long drive at a cost of about 200k IDR and were looking forward to a memorable evening. In the mood for meat, I ordered the ribs, but were told they were out. So I ordered the burger; my wife ordered the duck. Ten minutes later, we're told there is no duck. My wife tries to order something else (can't recall what), and we're told that's not available either. Exasperated, she orders a burger also. We're then told that the burger isn't available- so I ask of course about the burger that I had ordered 10 minutes earlier, and we're told "sorry, no burger". The waitress suggested something that they did have, which neither of us wanted, and we asked if anything else was off the menu- she pulled out a piece of paper and ran off a long list of things they didn't have. This is at 7pm, not closing time. We decided we wanted to eat what we wanted, not the measly selection they had, and asked for the bill. They tried to make "amends" for screwing up the evening by taking 15% off of our ridiculously priced drinks (a small Bintang was 80k IDR!) but of course we still had the service charge and other BS to pay, even though we hadn't had anything to eat. I don't begrudge the wait staff their service charge as it wasn't their fault, but it still left a bad taste in our mouths. What kind of incompetent fool is running that kitchen that doesn't even have the basics? So unprofessional, and they talk like they're a top-notch restaurant. An hour's drive, an hour in the restaurant and a total cost between the ride and drinks of about 500k and we left without getting a single bite to eat. Absolute joke of a restaurant.

This place has potential to be great but it was far from it. We ordered a pizza, fries and lamb chop. Meals took a very long time to come out and my lamb chop came out 30 minutes after my partner’s. After waiting that amount of time to be serviced with a tiny chop, teaspoon of pumpkin, one cherry tomatoes, small potato stack and a cm worth of carrot was disappointing to say the least. Was going to get the lava cake but saw the table down from us send it back for being eggy and inedible. Won’t be coming back. View wasn’t worth it as it was dark. Staff were friendly however slow considering we were one of a few tables.

Globally a poor experience. A real management is missing, the employees come and go without worrying too much about the customers, sometimes with a dish or a drink without really knowing who to give it to. About food, tuna avocado tartar, was not seasoned and had been prepared in advance which meant that the crunch of the parmesan had completely disappeared, marshmallow style Crispy duck was crispy, that's it. Vegetables on side was the best of this plate. Dessert, fondant au chocolat The waiter assured me that the" chocolate fondant " is homemade, which really surprised me but why not. With 2 local wine glaces like 870k. Too much expensive.

The dishes were made by the chef and served with so much beauty and taste. We tried tuna tar-tar, beef tar-tar, lobster, and BBK ribs, also desserts, was so delicious! Chef came to us and made show for dessert 🍨. It was just amazing! Also as we stayed in Kaamala Resort, we had breakfasts in Wild Air Restaurant, they were very tasty! The restaurant is situated on heights with a view of the monkey park of Ubud. It has the best quality dishes. The biggest recommendation for visiting.

We had breakfast at Wild Air and the view alone was beautiful! Not only was the food exceptional but the staff were all so friendly! Our breakfast package included tea or coffee, juice and even a fruit platter! 😍 You can choose from many western or asian dishes so there is something for everyone! The desert was also very tasty! Wild Air is located in central Ubud close to Monkey Forest so is easy to get here by Gojek, scooter or even by walking. We would highly recommend Wild Air to anyone looking for an incredible Japanese experience for any occasion in Ubud.

We stayed at kaamala resort for our honeymoon, our package included breakfast every day. They had amazing options, both western and Indonesian style, and they were the perfect starts to our day. Our breakfast also included specialty coffee drink, juice, fresh fruit, and a bread basket. Server Bintang made sure to make our mornings special. We definitely recommend it here!

We stayed for 8 nights at Kaamala, so we ate here mainly & ate our way through the breakfast & dinner menus. We enjoyed a wide variety of delicious, generous, & artfully arranged Balinese and western food, & cocktails while overlooking the infinity pool, palm trees, the river valley, kites, & sunsets. In fact we sat together facing outward instead of each other. Bintang our hostess was as welcome & refreshing as the beer!
