Loved by the whole of our family, this friendly warung had it all - great home-cooked food, a warm welcome and attentive service from Putu and her family. The smoked duck feast is highly recommended - order 24 hours in advance.

The food was marvelous, the atmosphere was really great. The ordered meals were perfectly prepared, maybe the menu doesn't contain dozens of different mains or desserts, but that's not McDonald's.. Products are fresh, nicely matched. Ice made from bottled water. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone willing to spend a great evening.

Traditional style cuisine, well presented and tasty! Putu had reduced the spiciness to suit our newbie western palate... Very friendly staff and incredibly patient. Great price as well. It is a little bit tucked away, keep going!! but definitely worth the trip

Relatively average Indonesian restaurant, nothing original about the menu and only 3 starters on offer however the guacamole was very nice

This a warm friendly place to have a laid back meal. The traditional Balinese food was great, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Fantastic value for money. Feels like you're in someone's house more than a restaurant.

So I'm confused. I went here after reading all the good reviews The service was homely, the price was very cheap The food was really average. Ok. Maybe I'm the minority but I eat out a lot and it wasn't great. Maybe I ordered wrong? I had high hopes but to no avail

This is a small family-run warung which serves great tasty food in a simple, homely atmosphere. If you are looking for the gourmet experience then best to go to other (more expensive) places in Ubud, but if you want a genuine home-cooked experience made with love then try this friendly little place. You will need to book a table as... More

Peaceful setting in an open-aired restaurant, tucked away in Ubud. There's a certain refinement to what they are doing at Putu's Wild Ginger. The ingredients and the dishes are prepared with care and are very tasty. I had the Nasi Campur (vegetarian) and the Soto (chicken). Dishes are a little on the small side, but it's not a worry, just... More
