This restaurant made you feel like home. Good food and cozy restaurant. We tried nasi campur, pisang goreng, guacamole and another main dish with a star that I couldn't recall and the winning dish is pisang goreng which is fried banana. It was done so well. The guacamole is the runner up. It was my best ever having guacamole.

Fantastic authentic Indonesian food. Owner was very attentive and helpful. A little bit hidden, as it's mid-way down a non-lit street

We had dinner at this cute, little family run restaurant. The traditional Balinese food was scrumptious and very good value for money. The owners gave very good service and were super friendly. If we're ever back in Ubud, we'd definitely come back here.

Putu herself cooked some seriously wholesome delicious food. We felt a mother's love when we tasted her food. it was so awesome our minds were blown. When my boyfriend had the fried bananas, he went bananas. We had Putu's goreng kecap, and her secret sauce was amazing. She can be my masterchef. She said the secret to her sauce was... More

Went for dinner on second last night in Ubud. Had the chicken avocado salad, mei goreng and nasi campur. All excellent. Easily among the best we have eaten in the last 2 weeks.

We so enjoyed the wonderful food & great service at Wild Ginger which was a 5 minute walk from our accomodation Kano Sari. A must visit if travelling to Ubud a traditional, very tasty dinner which we enjoyed very much.

Warmly welcomed from this lovely woman and her husband. We pre ordered the duck for 2- which was great! Hard to finish cause it was so much different to eat. It's a small location Ina sidestreet which is nice-don't have the scooter noises. Lovely place with heart!

Local Indonesian Food prepared in a really nice way. Service from the owning family was really friendly + it's a cozy place away from the tourist buzz. Mains 40-50K. Nothing to go wrong with. But only 4 dishes as mains plus the whole duck which you have to preorder one day in advance so we found the menu a bit... More

The place was so neat and cute. Putu is the name of the lady who is chef of this restaurant. I like her cuisine, avocado Salad, nasi campur, nasi goreng. She made her own sauce and dressing. And I love the rice wine. We didn't have duck cuisine , if you want to have it, must have reservation 1 day... More

Little hard to find because we drove by the place at first following Tripadvisors map but soon after found Putu's Wild Ginger. The menu isn't all that large but she has some excellent choices on there. I went for the Soto with pork as a starter and I really enjoyed it. I tried the Guacamole too which was a perfect... More
