We had a nice dinner at this tiny little restaurant, run by a family. The food was good and cooked with love. It was such a peaceful place and something different compared to the busy streets of Ubud that are full of tourists. We found a little nice escape! And good value for money!

With a really short menu you expect killer dishes. We had sweet potato, fried, on a plate with bottle tomato sauce, the soto, then the WG special cooked two ways. Basically, with tomato sauce again. Maybe I missed the menu highlights somehow but after a few days in Ubud, I've eaten a lot better. Yes the staff are lovely but... More

We were fortunate to be staying very close by to Wild Ginger and our host recommended that we try it. Delicious food, made from the heart. Highly recommended!

During our four days in ubud we went twice to Putus. Both times the food was excellent and the service super friendly... At our first visit we just ordered a la carte and the avocado salad and Putus special were superb. After that meal we decided to book the special smoked duck dinner for our last night in ubud. The... This restaurant serves only about 20 guests so reservations are essential. Classic local dishes prepared by an experienced local lady; her husband handles the serving, welcomes guests and creates a real family atmosphere. We had the duck special, with numerous additional dishes, a classic rijstaffel, and every bite was fantastic. Conveniently located in downtown Ubud. Great value for money, a... More

Great local food and a very reasonable price. Service is excellent. Only a small restaurant so preferable to book ahead.

We came here twice. On our first night and the last night again cause all the food inbetween was not as great as here. It is definetly worth the walk. The food is made with love and tastes great. They also offer cooking classes. If i would have known that earlier I would have gone. Just eat here! Its great!

It's very apparent when you tuck into the wonderful Indonesian fare at The Wild Ginger that it really is made with love. Our meals not only looked wonderful, the flavours were heaven sent!
