Visited this place a year ago and did not hesitated to revisit again. The best Babi Guling and best local food any traveler can experience.

my kids love these babi guling so much, but remember not to tell the waiter to separate the sauce from the babi (pork) because not everyone is suitable with the sauce.

The food is very good and really cheap. Good choices as well as a few vegetable dishes. The homemade chilly oil sauce at each table is enough to spice up to anyone’s level. We visited a few times and it was equally as good each...time. Staff are helpful and friendly with lean toilet facilities.More

This is our first lunch in Ubud, 13 Nov 2019 after Kuber ATV Bali Adventure. Again, perhaps I was expecting too high, and when reality of food and taste were delivered, found disappointment Taste of food was just average. Meat was slightly dried. The only good...thing that enable us to eat : Service and smile of servers were good and friendly, and fast Chilies were spicy - we loved spicy - hence we could eat the foodMore

Went back 2nd time and it still taste great! We Drank coconut Water and it’s a great match to ease off the heat! Nothing much to shout about the restaurant environment, this is just purely good food! Let this be your first stop in Ubud!...Have fun!More

We had heard all the hype about Babi Guling so thought we would try. I’m a big fan of pork and crackle so I was super keen to try. After a bit of research we heard this was the place to go but as much...as I want to say it was brilliant is was absolute slop on a plate. We have eaten all over Bali and most of Asia and this rates as my worst meal to date. Ordered just the pork meat & skin and the meat was below room temp and drenched in a watery bland spice soup ( best way I can describe). Piece of pork crackle was size of a postage stamp and ordinary. And yes we went early so not like we got the end of the day serving. Service was blah also and I really felt we got “The Tourist” deal which was no deal at all. Sorry Bu Oka but you are famous but I can’t see why? I would not recommend this meal at all. Gross is the word that comes to mind - Luke warm Gristle & rubbery to boot. Won’t be back ! 1 Star just !More

Expected more from this restaurant food wise . The setting is lovely - It’s up an alley way and overlooks one of the ravines. No suckling pig dishes on display - expected to have a servery and certainly crackling. We took suggestion of special dish...which had mix of dark dry meat in sausage casings and small fatty bits of pork on bone and inedible fatty skin . Disappointed in our choice - maybe if ribs or just roast on own would have been better . Staff seemed disinterested in customer service . There are many other places to try so we won’t be back .More

Yummy suckling pig and rice! Also had a fresh coconut. Came because of the Antony Bourdain recommendation and it was good!

Yes is during the busy period - we were not overly impressed with the menu or location compared to some other places.
