Coffee time!

Looking for a place to chill in Ubud? Kakiang Bakery should be on top of the list. Visiting Kakiang Bakery regularly for almost 6 years, this place never disappoint us. We love visiting the one in Jalan Pengosekan as the space is just about right. It is clean and cozy, great for having small talk with your loves one. I recommend their coffee accompanied with their miles crepes. You can pick the flavor of your miles crepes and they usually have it after 11 AM. Last month, we tried the Tuna Melted Sandwich and it was great too! Not a fan of coffee? Worry not! they serve refreshing fresh juices and soft drinks too. The people who work there are friendly and very helpful. Moreover, they could communicate in English fluently. You will definitely enjoy Kakiang Bakery!

Delicious Cake in town

The place is comfortable, you can choose on the 1st or 2nd floor. There is also a smoking area on the second floor. The staff are friendly, just come and be greeted right away and asked what they want to order. And most importantly the cake is very delicious here. Yummy

Beautiful place, nice staff, so so food

I visited this place earlier this november with my friends, staff welcomed us warmly, everything went perfect until we got our food. They have lots of choices, however the taste is so so for me. The pasta needs some more salt, the chicken salad was nice, I like it, but the french fries was too oily and the matcha cake is kinda plain. After all we enjoyed our visit.

Small Cake Size

Always eat this cake when I go to Ubud. But lately cake size is often uneven. Just very disappointed to get smaller cakes than normal size from time to time and you pay the same price. The first one was take away, luckily the staff let me switch. Second and third one I ordered online from their new Denpasar store and received smaller cake compared to what I've been eating before.. I'm just gonna buy directly in the store from now on.

Be Careful When Order via WA

I ordered birthday cake at this place via WhatsApp. The details of the order were communicated and paid for as well; however, to my surprise, when I took the cake, the staff told me there was no request for the candles. I clearly mentioned Candle 23 in the chat, but they asked me to pay more. I sawed them the chat, and they said 'sorry' and still insisted on me paying more for the candles. It is strange how they process my request for the strawberry and the wording on the cake. But blame me for not paying for the candle. I don't know what is going on with the services here; when you take the order, you should process it thoroughly. This is not about the money (US$2) for the candles. I created the order, and I am ready to pay. The cake was for my partner on his special occasions, but just because of the service, it ruined my day. I don't even care about the taste of the cake anymore. It is disappointing, to be honest.

Good rest stop for sweet treats after monkey forest

Donuts, cream puff and signature coffee was Fantastic. However, there was a table of really loud locals, playing cards and drinking. We chose to sit away from them because they were too loud but it didn’t exactly help because the place was small. Would have been more pleasant if people kept their voices down, the staff there could have politely told them to keep it down a little as there were other patrons.

comfortable place, delicious food, I recommend you to try the pork belly fried rice, really delicious, I really enjoyed every menu I ordered. Don't forget to try the tiramisu milles crepes too, best tiramisu 🤩👍🏻

Fine Bakery

Pretty much the pioneer of a fine Bakery in Ubud, the taste are delicious with lots of variants to try, the price is also affordable, however one thing that they need to improve is the manner of their staffs, the staffs are nice but they dont have manner for surroundings, they scream and make a lot of noise ...
