We know this restauran from our friend recommended, we had lunch with my boy friend. We ordered seafood fettucuni and cold drink, ice latte is my favorite drink. The foods and service was excellent, nice ambience. Will recommended,

When a stranger asked me to join her for dinner at Indus Restaurant I immediately agreed, willing to risk unfamiliar company for the chance to taste Indus' famous paella. The venue, the flavours, the service, the shuttle service from Casa Luna all exceeded expectations. The company was quirky but it too added a richness to the experience. It felt good... More

We were recommended this place by our driver and it didn't disappoint. Amazing views from the terrace are worth a visit alone. The food was really good and very reasonable. We couldn't decide so we ordered the 'feast' where they simply bring you a selection of dishes of the day. Randomly, it also turned out we were there for a... More

Set lunch in an extravagant building overlooking a beautiful forest during a warm rainy downpour could not have been more perfect. The food was classic Indonesian with chicken satay on lemongrass, sauteed tofu, fish, beans and rice. Excellent value.

My favourite restaurant in Bali. If you are looking for awesome, traditional Balinese food - this is the place. Cant recommend it more highly! Always a winner!

The view is very nice when you want to see how Ubud should look without all the development that's now overrun the area. Service is attentive. We ordered some spring rolls and mee goreng, 3 children's meals, each of which cost over 60,000R, and water that cost 20,000 for a small bottle, and we needed a few. The portions for... More

We recently dined again at Indus after being there in March and experiencing some service problems. No such issues this time, faultless food and service from the staff and the view from Indus is just gorgeous. We were fortunate to meet the owner Janet who is charming and took the time to meet us and have a chat. I'd highly... More

Oops. Over the years we've recommended the Indus to a number of friends. On our recent trip to Ubud, we took our own advice. Granted, it's been a couple of years since we last visited -- and the bright lights and lovely setting of the main restaurant and the grand views from the terraces haven't changed -- but there was... Dear Dayne, I'm so sorry you were disappointed, indeed my staff had worked very hard during the Writers & Readers Festival and you're right, they were very tired. However, we want our customers to be happy and we value feedback so I will taking all of your comments on board. Re your meal, most of our customers love the food... More

I had lunch at Indus with a friend recently. The food was very delicious, as were the drinks. We were a little time-poor so couldn't stay as long as we would have liked. The staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive (service was fast but not rushed). The views out the back are simply stunning but the stone staircase back... More
