Great food, highly recommended

First night after arriving in Ubud. I had the fish curry and my girlfriend had a mixed rice dish. Both were very flavorful and chockful of herbs and spices. Location was great, and the ambiance of the restaurant was serene. Finished with sharing a coconut ice cream with black rice pudding, also... read more

4th time we have been to Indus and as always we left very satisfied. The food is great as is the service and drinks. The highlight of eating here is definitely the view though. Just mind blowing. Best if you get a table overlooking the gorge and rice paddies but most tables have a decent view.

Great open air terrace, table & chairs or traditional indonesian tables. Nicely decorated. Excellent food - with a special mention for the Bali Rendang. Wine expensive but cheaper than in places with comparable standards. If you want to try the special bali duck, you have to book 24 h in advance. We had unfortunately no time to test ! Very... More

Visited Indus for the 2nd year running with a group of 7 and weren't dissapointed. We had the chicken curry served in a half coconut, duck curry, Pizza and Nasi Goreng. The meals were beautifully prepared and extremely tasty. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive and the views across the rear balcony are awesome.

This restaurant was lovely, the view and atmosphere was definitely worth the trip. Even in the midst of rain the view was wonderful and enchanting. I ordered the Nazi Goreng and I would consider it the best one I had the entire trip! Definitely a great place.

On prior trips to Bali we ate at Indus on a few occasions and were quite pleased. We are here for several weeks and recently went to Indus for both lunch and dinner. My lunch salad was quite good; my wife's was nothing special. Of course the daytime view is wonderful -- all that lush greenery is most impressive. We... More

Another Fantastic place to eat when in Bali... as you enter though those gorgeous ornate doors you'll know your in for a treat. Amazing Food, great service and beautiful interior. We didn't need to book in advance as this restaurant is pretty big, there is also a dining area downstairs. You'll find the best Australian wines on the menu too.... More

I had two meals at Indus and returned twice for coffee. The gado gado was tasty but the piece of tofu was too large for me. On my second visit, I had a selection of appetizers but two of the three pieces of satay had large pieces of something inedible - likely gristle. The ice coffee and ice cappuccino are... More

Hi there Thank you for joining us at Indus. I'm so sorry to hear these issues with our food Indus is always of high standards However sometimes they need to be more careful when making the satays. I'll have this looked into. Oh and the Gado Gado is served with Tempe :) Might be different here in Indonesia. Enjoy your... More

Fish Friday attracted my attention I had a fish baked in banana leaf, it was delicious! Service was warm, professional and attentive. The ambience candle light, live salsa music and diners dancing added to the atmosphere. It was in the evening so couldn't see the view but I'm sure during the day the views from the terrace would be spectacular.... More
