We visited cafe lotus for lunch during our stay in ubud in july 2016. we sat right next to the pond of the sariswati temple which is directly behind the cafe. We shared the nasi goreng which was good and paid about 60.000 idr for it which is ok. We would definitely come back because of the great atmosphere.

Had a nice western coffee with cream in the most lovely surroundings. The temple view and huge fish pond with lotus lilies was lovely and we even got to watch a wedding photo shoot.

Have eaten here several times over the years. Always feel the same. Location is stunning and if you feel like a little indulgence this is a great choice. Food suprisingly good too. Food tasty and service perfect.

The Lotus Cafe is a special place right beside a couple of ponds full of lotus plants and with a view of an awesome temple. There is seating next to the pond or in front in the restaurant area. The food is varied, but fairly pricey. Location 5 stars, worth a visit!

it's always nice to sit along the pond in the pavillion area. low tables where you sit on rice mats. very nice setting. some evenings you can watch dance shows. nice food. very accomodating in creating kids dishes which are not really on the menu.

Nice but probably wouldn't go for dinner again but for an Informal lunch. My supper wasn't great but the my daughter really liked hers.

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. I had the chicken soup and it was BEAUTIFUL :) We couldn't really see the show from where we were sitting so I would suggest if you want to see this that you make sure you sit close by.

Stopped here for lunch on two occasions with the kids. A perfect pit stop for a hungry family. Good menu with a mix of western and local food. Service good and food served quickly. Satay and Vietnamese rolls particularly good. Reasonably good value but beware that they don't take cards for payment so could wipe out your cash before hitting... More
