This was a pleasant surprise with good views over the temple and lotus pool. We ate light meals during lunch which were full of flavour but not massive portions.

My wife & I recently had dinner here with another couple, one of the reasons we visited Ubud was to visit the lotus cafe. The setting is beautiful with a view of the lotus garden as well as the temple providing an excellent backdrop for day & night dining. The menu is extensive & we each had 3 courses. Overall... More

It's a restaurant with a great view, nice place to relax. But don't expect great service if you're an Asian wearing flip-flops and shorts. The way me and my friend were being treated is like we were being looked down upon and as if we're unable to pay for our meal. Bad service! Anyway the lotus garden can be accessible... More

We'd gone in to the main town of Ubud after a long day of hiking to the Mt. Batur Volcano and didn't really have the energy to stand in line to get tickets to the Temple Dance. Cafe lotus gave the perfect setting to enjoy a nice meal, with delicious house wine and take in the temple dance. It does... More

We enjoyed just a few starters here, while enjoying the view of the temple and lotus. We had shrimp roll and spring rolls. Restaurant was pretty empty, we had just missed the lunch crowd around 2pm. Service was ok. There was a stray cat and dog hanging around that looked bad. The staffed tried to keep them away.

One of my favourite restaurants in Ubud. Beautiful ambiance and food. You have a choice of tables or sitting crosslegged on the floor...Balinese style. The food is delicious.

Great setting over the pond with the lotus flowers. Food wasn't the best I've had but scenery made up for it. Attentive staff.

Bought tickets for the Joged Dance in the beautiful setting of the Saraswati Temple and its lotus ponds. We were a bit early and stopped by the Lotus Cafe for a drink and found they had a table for us if we were having dinner which we could then also watch the show. The pork ribs and Ayam Betutu was... First night in town , we had high hopes. Expensive for Bali. Staff inattentive. Food nothing special. We felt unwelcome. Won't return as we've found so many wonderful places since.
