I cannot say so much, I went there now 4 times in 3 weeks. The food is great, the cost is ok, affordable, the view is one of the best in bali, really ON water, the water is very light blue. I recomand all salads...and other but really this is the best place on sea in bali, you cannot compare with all 5 star properties etc, Sanur is like a fisherman village where all is abortable. go there and enjoy. Parking is easy, just the way from parking to restaurant is not really nice.More

We discovered this restaurant by pure luck, and were delighted with the food and service. The location directly on the beach was very pleasant, and allowed a cooling breeze to relieve Bali's humidity. The food was excellent. We have learnt to have somewhat modest expectations...in Bali, but the menu was creative, and the execution was exceptional. We shared a pork belly appetiser, which was crisp and tasty, and the coleslaw was delicious. I ordered a humble chicken parmigiana, which was cooked to perfection, with a fresh tomato base under the cheese, topped with a touch of pesto, all of which worked. My husband ordered nasi campur, which was equally well received. A selection of vegetables was a nice surprise to share, well cooked and flavoured with butter. Their chilled coffee offerings were a quirky treat. We never tip, but we were so content with the value, that we actually left a tip before we left, wandering off with very happy tummies. Highly recommend - we may see you there.More

Spectacular after-dinner drinking tropical cocktails at the bar on our swings! There weren't many people and you could hear the sound of the waves. A magical night in Sanur.

I went for lunch too Café Bamboo with a friend, it was quite good. The location is nice, on the beach, the staff is ok. The lawar cumi and the cumi suna cekuh were both excellent. Highly recommended.

This restaurant was, as far as I was concerned, a bit of a mistake. My two fellow diners enjoyed their meal, but I wasn't at all impressed with my choice, which was the Soto Ayam (Indonesian chicken soup with noodles and other stuff) it tasted...awful plus it was cold! Yuk! And I can't even remember what I had for my main meal as after the soup incident I'd lost my appetite completely The setting was very nice and the waitress was sweet enough but I couldn't wait to get away, I felt most uncomfortableMore

Had lunch here, ordered BLT which the bread was so dry, mostly lettuce, barely any tomato and bacon. Coffee was nice. Staff pleasant and helpful, reasonably priced for beachfront.

Ate here twice. Fish dishes were excellent especially some very well cooked squid. The service was good and a great view of the bay if you get a table overlooking the beach. Also a nice cooling breeze in the evening.

The wine list is the best thing about Cafe Bamboo. The food wasn’t awful, but just average. Chicken seems to be a safe option, while the fish was so overcooked. The waitresses seem bored and are inattentive. The location is great along the beach, but...with so many restaurants along the strip with pretty lights and that holiday feel ambience, we probably wouldn’t go back.More

Bamboo Cafe is one of the original cafes along this strip. We have eaten here many times over the years especially whilst staying at the Old Hyatt. Re-visiting the new Hyatt-we ate here twice and enjoyed our meals. Great views, good music, relaxed vibe, and...delicious Massimo ice-cream on site.More
