We found this quiet restaurant next to our hotel and it came out to have cooking classes. As we are "foodies", we decided to try to learn to cook some Balinese dishes. Adi, our mentor, took us to a market, where she answered my hundreds...More
Everything we ordered was delicious and was freshly made. Grilled squid, nasi goreng, mie goreng, sare ayam, spring roll.
The squid is very tasty and soft.

Delicious Balinese food with wonderful spices, well presented and in an authentic warung. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend the black rice dessert. At Lovina for a few days and we'll be back to try more dishes.
This restaurent is worth a visit. We went 10 persons and 6 of us got the rice taffel. It was the best meal on Bali and very very good service.
Also they offered to pick us up and drive us back to the hotel.

'Bambu' is about 5-7 minutes by an inexpensive taxi ride from Lovina. In fact we went to Lovina for cocktails and a walk along the beach before going on to Bambu. Cozy restaurant is just another few minutes at the most along the coast road (closer to Singaraja).
For an exact location go to GoogleMaps and key in these locations. You'll have a much better idea of exactly where they are.
Have fun there and if you get the chance go from the south via the two lakes as the hill road down to SIngaraja has many twists and turns, is steep in parts and has some amazing views.
