Great traditional food, cheap and good service. A hidden gem within the laneways of Kuta. A must do if looking for traditional food.

LOVED this place! A great little casual restaurant with fantastic food, frequented by tourists and locals alike. The Seafood Basket was a lovely entree to share, followed by mains Nasi Merah Begana and the Cap Cay Ayam. So much to choose from and everything that...came out of the kitchen looked wonderful! It was our last night in Bali and so we couldn't eat here again...Next time!More
Good Indonesian food for a cheap price. Banana pancakes is not like it used to be, more American like. A great warung since always.
Very tasty nasi goreng ,served with crackers . good portion there is very nice music and friendly staff
Good local food place. Variety of dishes, cheap prices and cooked fresh. All the dishes tasted fresh as well. Standout was the chicken skewers and the peanut sauce and the curry fried rice. Pre cooked options also available. Good to go with a group to...try a few different things.More
Bit tricky to find as in alleyways of Kuta and poppy lanes. But worth the effort. Run by local and japanese lady. Made to order food or premade style. Fruit juices cheap at 15k and good...mango or banana. Fried rice with Saaty was 38k. Yum....Daikon pork soup with rice 25k Good in my books and no tax or service as in sir down restaurants of kuta.More
Yes, for kuta it might be a good place to eat. Nice atmosphere, you can sit on a bench and watch the street life passing by. Food is ok. Shakes are really good but served with a plastic straw, considering the delicate environment and the...problems on Bali - this is a downturn- as there are alternatives around to replace this plastic.More
The place is so Indonesia and the services are really good. And the food are good, really Indonesia. The food reminds me of my hometown, Bandung
Went for 2 satay dishes and tuna skewers. Food was great, the satay full of flavour. Really filling as well. Slightly more expensive than we were hoping in Bali, and definitely could have been spicier as I specifically asked. But all in all very good...local foodMore
We went to Warung Indonesia due to all the popular reviews. This hidden local eats, is located slightly off the main road away from the busy traffic. At first glance, the store looks like a local eats, and perhaps a little dodgy. The prices were...cheap and the food was well presented. I ate the curry fried rice with chicken skewers and small bunch of pickled vegetables and crispy crackers (35K RB). In all honesty, the rice wasn’t too well seasoned and lacked some flavour. However, the chicken skewers were amazingly juicy and full of flavour. The combination mixed with pickled vegetables really worked. Overall, the prices were cheap (mostly under 35K RB) and the food was authentic. I would really recommend this place if you want cheap eats with local authentic flavours.More
Not really clean place but really cheap and good flavours ! Possibility to try different food by making our own plate.
Honestly didn’t really appreciate it at first but after visiting a few dozen other warungs, this was the only place that had actual real locals eating there. All the other so called local places were just foreigners paying over paid prices for bland food.
The best Warung I’ve ate at in the whole of Indonesia and perhaps the cheapest. 3 dishes and two drinks came to only 73k.
This Warung is a little out of the way but the food is good and well priced. You can select your own salad if that’s your thing
I found the food here very very yummy. There are a lot of vegan options here too! 🙂Upon request the worker was happy to use clean tong selecting my food so it would be mixed with non vegan stuff. I got food from the buffet...in the display window. They also offered to cook anything vegan and answered any questions to make sure what was selected didn’t have non vegan ingredients. I tried quite a few things. My favourites were veggies with shredded coconut, bean and tempura and the eggplant. I highly recommend for vegans and other vegetarians if you want safe local food that tastes great. Also very inexpensive. Plenty of yummy non vegan for my partner! Her tummy is happy!! Price for two is only 48k idr with 5 kind of food for each. That’s happy for our wallet too!!More
