Traveling celiac is a challenge but the food here was unreal. I can't remember the name of it but I had a traditional lamb dish that was out of this world. Spicy but manageable. Service was excellent. Would head back to Poppies if I'm ever back in Bali

If you are looking for somewhere to eat a nice dinner in beautiful setting this is your place. The service was great, food amazing and although they were slightly more expensive than average for Bali it was still very cheap in comparison to eating out in Aus. We chose a tasting set for 2 people and loved every bit of... More

Great food, shame we walked by it so many times as it is very well enclosed. Well worth a visit. Have only been here a couple of times due to only just riding it but very cheap, quality meals

Visited here last week to get out of the rain and relax from shopping. Poppies was about half full when we arrived and should be noted there us smoking and non smoking options areas too. Quite an extensive menu there is plenty of local and western dishes on offer. We went for a couple of club sandwiches as were after... More

My dad went to poppies in the 80's and when we booked our trip to Bali he suggested checking if it was still there because he really enjoyed it. We had the best meal ever! The waiter was so kind, even having a chat to my dad on FaceTime and thanking him for recommending them. We both ordered fish, me... More

This is one of Bali's Premier restaurants and a must visit. The menu is extensive as is the wine and drinks menu. Beautiful setting and excellent service, you must visit Poppies.

Once you leave the bustling Poppies Lane 1 and walk behind the stone wall, you will be amazed by the quietness and beautiful garden setting of Poppies Restaurant. The beer was cold and we thought the prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the meal and the lovely atsmoshere. Had our best meal in Kuta and the service... More

Poppies is one of the oldest restaurants in Bali that cater to the tourist trade. I went there in the early 80's and still go back every time I'm in Bali. The setup hasn't changed in all those years . The food and service is excellent and the surrounding gardens are peaceful and private. It's hard to imagine that the... More

This restaurant is somewhat of a hidden gem, being located in a small lane off the main street. It's really beautiful inside, and almost feels like dining in a garden. Food is also good, so it's a great experience overall.
