The restaurant set in the valley which is very green with lots of coconut trees. They serve mostly Indonesian and Balinese food but there are some choices of western food like sandwiches. It is located further up from the famous Ceking terraces but it is a lot quieter and peaceful, so you could enjoy your meals better with nice cool... More

We enjoyed our lunch here! The views of the rice terraces are beautiful and there are nice walking paths to enjoy after you eat.

Actually we didn’t discover Boni Restaurant ourselves - Nyoman from Bali Traditional Tours brings his guests that are on the Rice Field Trekking and Day Spa tour here. The restaurant is cool with lovely views and very good food to boot. We all enjoyed our meals - however the hit for me was the grilled rice dish that Nyoman introduced... More

Went there with my family including small kids. The view over rice fields is fantastic and even better than at other famous places. The food is outstanding. Local and western food available. The staff is extremely well trained. Highly recommended.

We went to this place as part of a tour and we really liked it. You are eating overlooking the rice fields, which is pretty nice! The have a very nice selection of fresh juices and nice traditional Indonesian dishes. Price is affordable as we paid R230k for 2 fresh juices, 2 mains and 1 dessert.

The location is magnificent. The service faultless. The food was very good and well presented. Expensive compared to my usual haunts but all is relative 121,000 rupias for main, water and a Bali coffee

When you book your tour to the rice paddies and the countryside you have a choice of going to where the tour buses stop or to this wonderful restaurant on a mountainside. Must have been a bad day for those who had "bad food" because our meal was very good. My "Beef Raon" was a good choice. The site is... More

I had researched trip advisor and selected this restaurant based on reviews. It was a great choice as I had the best Nasi Goreng ever. We were a group of 8 and everyone really enjoyed the food, the view and the service. At the time we went, there was renovations happening so we were only confined to a smaller area... More

Worth going just for the spectacular setting on the side of a steep hill looking across to the rice paddies. I have been here twice, 2 yrs apart, not much has changed. Staff very friendly. Food is average. And yes, always a cold Bintang. Indo basics such as Nasi G and Gado Gado are ok. The curries are good. There's... More

This is a fairly new restaurant outside Ubud, near Tegallalang village. It is owned by a balinese family and they have no "agents" that is PR people that help them to advertise their restaurant. I went there on the 6th of April 2011 for lunch. They served very nice Indonesian food at reasonable prices and have amazing views of some of Ubuds rice terrasses. It was even possible to walk along the rice fields after having your lunch there. This is not (yet) a touristy area - which is why I would like to recommend this restaurant so people can enjoy places which are not full of tourists and tour buses. Their tel number is: 0361-8867323 / 8627309.
