Stopped by for breakfast on our last day in Varanasi. Had a lovely stack of American pancakes with generous amounts of maple syrup. Bumped into a French couple who raved about their dinner of lasagne and ratatouille the previous night, though we didn't get a chance to sample for ourselves.

We decided to forego the usual hotel breakfast and head for someplace a bit less rushed and less crowded. It was the best decision of the day. Great breads, excellent coffee and a range of simple traditional or vaguely western choices. It's a bit out of the way, but well worth the trouble of finding. The husband-wife team who own... More

This is a nice little local run bakery where they bake their own bread and cakes. The chocolate brownies are just what a girl needs when you have a craving. We a,so had a lovely, freshly cooked meal, two rice dishes and a curry, all had great flavours. Well worth a visit, even just for a take away to have... More

Picking a restaurant in India can be tricky: It tends to be a choice between two extremes: Overprized and touristic but safe for your western stomach, or local, cheap but not always very cozy and clean. We bumped into this place by coincidence, and the food is great, freshly made and not at all overprized. The staff is friendly and... More

Its a decent place to hangout away from city's hustle and bustle to enjoy veg./non veg, sub continental food, also special discounts to BHU students on ID Cards.

Amost gave up to find a decent plane for dinner - and we just found this cosy and nice place. Probably the best food we had in Varanasi - Wonderful Indian food The owner convinced us to try the crème carmel - We both are not into desserts that much - but this one knocket our socks off...

Bread of Life is a lovely restaurant strattling the tulsi ghat and muslim neighborhood border in Southern Varanasi. When my friends and I went, the restaurant was completely empty. The restaurant had a lot of options on the menu, from small to large breakfast/brunch options, and they also had a large selection of lunch and dinner options. I got eggs... More

A previous review was claiming it is closed but that's not true since I went there today and had some great food there, and the service was impeccable...Prices are very reasonable, and a nice choice on the menu too
