we had a quiet lunch. It was too much to eat but good nevertheless. It was interesting to see old time pizza ovens in action. They also sell good home made choclates.

Being in the state of Tamil Nadu, one can expect delicious south Indian food in Ooty. But if you categorise your meal into veg/Non-Veg then Nahar is the place not to be missed. Good food with decent price. Service was not as expected though.

The food is average here, not so tasty; and it is slightly overpriced for the quality it offers. Wood-fire Pizzas are supposed to be its specialty, but the Pizzas are OK. Plus points are ambiance, location, and service.

Of course it is slightly pricy, but worth it, unlike other restaurants that just overcharge you and offer bad food. Plus, the service was nice, as was the menu.

The place was centrally placed and I had some amazing delicacies in pizza, mushroom burnt sandwiches and pasta with coffee. The portion served was good in quantity. The shop also had a good stock of home made ooty chocolates. ( which is though very common. Just next to cafe there is nahar hotel which had north, Italian and south India restaurants... More

I chose a table with the window seat to look at the streets and eat. Unfortunately there were many flies on the glass and dead on the floor. I think they were dead but no one had cleaned up.It disgusted me a bit but I didn't want to move inside and wanted the window so sat there and knew had... More

Must've been one of the better restaurants in ooty at one time... When we went, it was partially closed for pest control ( on a Sunday evening ) and the next day they were again closed! The chocolates tasted very average...

We called the restaurant to check if we can walk in for dinner and they said we can. So we went ahead. But there was some sort of function and the whole restaurant was taken for some family function. False info provided and we just wasted our time travelling to this hotel. Staff are also rude.

This is one of its kind cafe in ooty. You get some great wood fired pizza , the menu is quite elaborate and I must say I have been visiting this place everytime I visit ooty. They have even some baked pasta options which is very good. It's a paradise for the Vegetarian's as it serves only vegetarian food. The... More
