Annapoorna food is something I have enjoyed for decades now! My teenage daughter (growing up in the U.S.), loves good vegetarian south Indian food. However, she is not used to sharing a table with strangers and has somewhat high expectations of cleanliness. We could have met all our needs by going to the AC hall at this location. However, we... We are from Coimbatore, and regulars at Annapoorna restaurants for the last 30 years plus! Dosa and sambar, is the best I've eaten ANYWHERE in India. Period. Dosa here is also known as roast, the Ghee Roast is a special ! At the "MAIN" Annapoorna in RS Puram you can order a 5' long dosa, good for a family to... More

I visited this place after almost 10 years and to be honest the restaurant lived up to its expectations. The quality of the food, service and pricing was very spot on and I would strongly recommend this place to any one who loves South Indian food. All the dishes are well prepared and are extremely delicious. The staff at the... More

Please never visit this place its worst lunch I ever had. Staff was poor very rude lunch coupon sold like we are robbing them. No regulation and time provided to people to eat food. This people just loot money 90 bucks and food for 15 bucks if I had taken food from street could have been better. If you heard... More

Annapoorna might still be popular with outsiders, but for people like me who have frequented it over the past twenty years, I have seen its quality going down. Oily food and lackluster service won't make up for fancy items. The dosas are greasy and the coffee smacks of reused filters. Even the pongal and upmas are not spared from the... More
