Based on the TA reviews we choose to have lunch here after we had visited the Jaipur Palace. A little difficult to find, but we succeeded. There is one floor with seats on the ground and one with normal seating. it is a backpacker atmosphere. The food (and the idea behind it) is lovely, but the staff is really slow... More

What a pleasure it was finding this place. I ate here a few times during my stay in Udaipur and each time was so happy. I loved the friendly happy staff and owner who stopped for a chat (or a sing and a dance) during a quiet moment. The food was fantastic- so fresh, full of flavour and you know... More

With their quality vegetarian food, value for money prices and relaxed, no hurry atmosphere this is a great place for travellers to sit and enjoy the surroundings, while planning their next move.

I grew up thinking "vegetarian" only meant boiled broccoli and tofu, so I was delightfully surprised that this restaurant offers far more sophisticated and tasteful options. I ordered the spinach salad with cashew paste and the pumpkin soup with coconut milk. Both were phenomenal.

We had the Rajasthani thali with some fruit and coconut juices and were very happy with everything we had. Better these than the pizzas (which my kids had and which were a little bland).

Indian Fusion food and drink that is perfectly tailored for the western backpacker's pallet. All the delicious and fragrant spices of Indian foods, all of the taste and less (or none) of the heat. We are a family of 4 (children aged 10 and 12). There was plenty on the menu here for all of us. Pizza and omelette were... More

We were looking forward to try this ecological restaurant so we specifically went there - there are signs for it everywhere in Udaipur! We were pleasantly surprised by the presentation of the food and the most important thing, the taste!! It is quite unique to find this sort of offer in the menu in India so make sure you visit... We did the cookery course at millets of Mewar and couldn't be more impressed. "Sonni" or "Sunny" was a really charismatic and interesting guy. I understand he is the owner and he took us through how to make 5 dishes. It was a good balance between him showing us what to do and us doing it ourselves. The food was... More

Laidback rooftop bar/restaurant, with an interesting menu. The food and drinks were tasty & creative, and they offer a special tea for people with stomach issues. Went back a couple of times, also recommended for a good and healthy breakfast.

This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.
