Oh my gosh what ambience, what a place .. The first time I visited Savage garden was in 2007 and it was love at first sight. Beautiful interiors which threw an aura of relaxed, cool royalty. I could not have imagined a place like this at that point of time in Udaipur but there it was, creation of a German... More

Walked by accidently looking for a place to eat before we headed to the radio to watch a performance. The ribs were very good a unique sauce that made you crave for more. The ginger tea was outstanding. Nice place to sit and relax with good food. The food came super fast.

We did not expect such good italian food. We had to choose that as indian food after 20 days had destroyed our stomach and intestine. The owner was really kind and we suppose he had french origins (or something like that). pasta was really good, even by italian standards (and you know we are obsessed with pasta :) )

We actually walked from the Bagore KI haveli to this place. Surprisingly we were able to locate it easily . Not a fan of the decor or place. We were the only people there . It appeared a bit cut off , Maybe it would be good during day time. However we ordered the home made pasta which was very... More

'What's happened to this restaurant?' was the question that kept cropping up both during and after dinner here. The courtyard garden at this pretty location was off-limits, with a large pile of bits of metal (what was that?) and some cheap trestle tables cluttering it up, so we sat upstairs in an undeniably lovely house which looked unloved and untidy.... Very pleasant place tucked away in a small street off the busy crazyness around you in Udaipur. The menu had good variety and choice (including Indian). I had a paneer makhani (quite spicy but very delicious) and my bfriend had mushroom soup (quite salty) and pasta, and while somewhat overcooked, tasted great. Certainly recommend the place :) beer is tuborg... More

The food here is the same quality as a meal you would get back home in a proper Italian or middle eastern restaraunt. My boyfriend and I started off by sharing stuffed aubergines which was delicious. I then had one of the tomato based pasta dishes and my boyfriend had falafel's. We both have been to various middle eastern countries... More

We had Falafel on Bhaja and Chicken Wajid Ali and really enjoyed both the dishes. The quality of the food is good and quantity is more than decent. The owner of the place is friendly and courteous. The only that needs a bit more work is lighting at the restaurant. It is insufficient and the seating area is almost dark.

After having some okay, and some bad, versions of western food in many Indian restaurants; it was great to come across Savage Garden restaurant, and its authentic western food. I had the roast chicken and baked potatoes with rosemary (great), and my dining partners had gnochi (great) and pumpkin soup (good). Price wise its not cheap eats, but if you... More
