We visited this restaurant on our first night in Jaisalmer, location out of this world but food so so.... we had the worst rice served in all our 5 weeks in india! Pointed out to waiter who admitted it wasnt gd but never took the cost off our bill.

We went to Saffron for dinner and we loved the setting of the restaurant and the views. There was some folk music too, feeling truly in the desert! Food was alright, we had the sizzler and chow mein and wasn't too impressed, however it is worthy a visit in the evening!

I only ate breakfast at this place but the cheese omelette was, by far, the best omelette I've ever had; I actually ordered another after the first!

The restaurant is located in a privileged venue: a very impressive ancient-like house (its also a Hotel: Nachana) and a rooftop with beautiful views to the city (not the Fort though). It felt very comfortable having dinner there. The service was nice. A bit slow but probably due to a temporary blackout, for which they apologized. I personally enjoyed the... More

Masala tea was around 60rupees, The taste was abit bland compared to other tea I has had, never the less it was still good... More

We ate here twice, the second time because we enjoyed it so much the first. It is on the roof of a very attractive havelli, and overlooks the king's palace, and is delightful at sundown and in the evening. And the food is very good indeed and reasonably priced. The Karai chicken and all the vegetarian options that we had... More
