This is a very basic restaurant upstairs and open to the road. Friendly staff, cheap food. I asked for a pea and potato curry which wasn't even on the menu. It was great but my husband's spaghetti bolognaise was not so great.

My boyfriend and I were brought to this place by the beautiful tree house during sunset. It seemed the perfect place to chill and enjoy the light. The waiter let us know that the price to sit there was 50 IRS per person, but we put it down to 50 for both. He ordered and he kept coming, first asking... More

Take a break and relax on the roof top or the tree house. It was worth the R100 for the tree house in our opinion. We had lunch and it was OK. Not terrible so worth the stop if beers and a break is your mission.

Why wouldn't you want to eat in a treehouse?! It's a genius idea! It's really cosy and has a superb view of the temples. They charge an extra Rs 100 for it though which was a bit of a surprise. It also only has 1 table (hence the cosiness) and the rest of the restaurant is a bit average so... More

Of all the restaurants, this definitely has the best view of the temples. And in the evening, you can actually enjoy the spectacular view of the sunset. It has a cute little tree hut where the table costs extra. But other than that, everything else is pretty much average. My friend and I went here to kill time before the... More

Treehouse with 1 table precariously suspended 7/8 metres above the road (really it's stable, I just like to exaggerate). Good food, good prices, good service. View over the temples. Nothing bad to say.

Such a percent location! Myself and 2 friends sat in the treehouse looking over the Western Group of temples at sunset, it was beautiful. We had a few drinks and snacks and were well looked after by the staff. *** I think it's mean that the Lonely Planet said that the staff were moody at this venue, our waiter was... More

We chose this place for its view of the Western Group of temples especially from the solo tree hut. The food was not all that great. We had to make our own lemon soda with all the ingredients brought to us separately :) But the view more than makes up for the average food.
