The breakfast was omelette, toast and tea... And very much needed after the overnight train from Agra. It was great value for money. We had chicken pizza and Indian pizza with lemon soda, this was perfect after visiting the temple sites. The pizza was a very thin base (perfect) cooked fresh, both very tasty. Highly recommend for food and service.... More

We went there for dinner and ordered butter chicken, tandoori and garlic naan! The preperation took them a while because it was a "one man show". However, food wad good and service friendly. Only the garlic naan was a bit disappointing.. All in all good experience

While in Khajuraho we visited this nearby restaurant. we ordered the butter chicken...which was a disappointment , the butter naan was good , the chicken curry was tasty , ( with plain rice ) , and the vegetable pakora , fresh and also tasty. All topped off by the Indian beer...Kingfisher .The prices were fair and service was good.

We had our last meal of Khajuraho at Agrasen. We had a Cold Coffee with Ice Cream and a Simple Thali. The Thali consisted of chapatti, rice, daal and a couple of vegetables. It was a good portion for one person. The taste was okay. We got a little put off by the servers paying more attention to westerners. In... More

We spend an evening at Agrasen because we were walking back to our hostel from the Eastern group of temples. We stepped by this place and were curious. After a quick look on the menu we decided it was too expensive for us as budget travelers. After short negotiations the owner offered us a nice discount :-) The terrace was... More

"Deepu" the waiter was very welcoming and friendly and its a lovely rooftop positioning of this restaurant. Because it was our third meal in 2 days Deepu chose a local dish (home style) for us that was not on the menu - Aubergine Keema, delicious. With that sort of friendly personalised service I can highly recommend it. If you found... More

We visited Agrasen twice whilst we were in Khajuraho, once for breakfast and once for lunch. On both occasions we were greeted by friendly staff and the food was great - good choice, very fresh and really tasty. The owner of the restaurant is lovely and very knowledgable and helped us source possibly the best auto rickshaw driver we have... More
