Located in the Main Church Street. The Cafe has been serving from the time of British. The waiters are old and retained over the long period of time. They still dress in the old fashion dress with a wonderful belt and head phanata. The tables are old and small. The place is always full and busting. Limited choice of food... More

I remember going to the Indian Coffee House in Delhi with my parents way back in the 50s. It was indeed a great pleasure for me to discover the ICH in Bangalore tucked away on Church Street amidst giant brands. The uniforms of the waiters are still the same as existed 60 or more years back - see photograph. Even... More

The place gives you a rustic feel. The staff is amiable and prompt, quite packed on weekends though. Mutton cutlet is a must try.

The moment you step in this Cafe, you feel like you're back to good old 80's. Waiters wearing some Classic Style Uniforms with Turban ON !! And Menu has some selective 15-20 Items listed and its always crowded with people sipping coffees(Philter Kappi's :p) /Rose Milk . People of all age groups do drop in here. Its a delightful place... Visited their Church street outlet. The taste is still the same although the space has reduced compared to what they occupied on MG Road. The same greasy menu cards, omelette served with oodles of ketchup etc. although they now serve with a smile.

Very reasonable rates ... It's a good place to have a cup of coffee. The chapati & curry is also good.

A simple yet sophisticated, old yet classy i just loves this place because of its simplicity . Way back in 2007 when i moved to Bangalore, this place was on main MG road and it was next to Higginbotham's book store. Address: Indian Coffee House No-19, Brigade Garden, Church Street , Behind MG Road This was in a building which... More

Basic food without frills. Tasty food. Limited options. Ideal for limited budget dining. Try various Omlet preparations.
