Breakfast at Koshy's left a disheartening experience in my food journey. The only way to smile again was to visit a new cafe and risk it again. So, based on a recommendation, I visited Indian Coffee House and to be honest I wasn't expecting much from this place. As I entered, I could sniff the aroma of pure coffee wafting... More

I have visited Indian Coffee House when it was on MG Road several times during my school days as well as recently. It is a good place to grab a dosa or vada along with some excellent coffee. The waiters wear a traditional dress and there were some photos of old Bangalore. I have not visited it after they moved... More

Among the hundreds of cafe' and joints on MG Road and Brigade Road lies this shady, old dilapidated place, right opposite Blossom' book house on the Church Street. This place even doesn't have direct access, have to enter a small building to get into the place. However, the place has a nice and different gentry. I used to buy books... More

I continue to have fond memories of the Indian Coffee House which was situated on MG Road. The place had a certain grandeur and ambience that the new location lacks. But that said, the quick bites are tasty and the coffee is just as good.

As college kids, we would set the world right with raucous discussion s and retelling stale jokes to jaded waiters here. It still has that slightly seedy look n feel with average food but great coffee...Sir Les Patterson would've felt at home here too?

I would never recommend this place to a fellow Indian, let alone to a foreigner. What could have been a creative haven for writers, artists, journalists, dancers or simply anybody looking to spend quality time with themselves and others is spoiled by poor hygiene, a smelly bathroom and employees with crestfallen looks. Located in a great location, on a busy... More

Indian Coffee House in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur, Bhopal, Jabalpur were my favorites. In Bengaluru, I found ICH a delightful experience. Economic ambience, Nice seating, helpful serving staff and wonderful ethnic taste of South Indian snacks and Coffee make you keep coming back. In Madhya Pradesh they had Omlet Dosa, Keema Dosa variants which we don't find here yet it is... More

This is a good place to have coffee and snacks while chatting with family and friends. There is an old world laid back feel, helped no doubt, by the old style decor, furniture, and attire of the waiters. The waiter said it was started in 1958, which makes it 58 years old now! The coffee was good and there are... More

It was right next to the Hotel I stayed in and so I dropped in to buy some filter coffee powder. Not only did I get good ground coffee but I was bowled over by the enthusiasm of the gentleman who sold it to me. He volunteered some tips on making good filter coffee. I appreciate his knowledge, and more... More
