Fine dining restaurant. Had the Kolkata mixed box starter (for 2) and my wife had grilled prawns (Goan peri peri) and I had fish curry (south). Also had the curry lead rice and some breads. Wife had mango lassi. Fish curry was excellent although having just been to chennai I don't believe it was as good. Prawns were good as... More

If you are a coastal food lover, you have to try this place. From their Kerala fish curry to their prawns, everything just clicks. Their staff was helpful, courteous, intelligent; everything that you would expect from a top rated hospitality chain was there. It was a business lunch so the quiet ambiance was to our liking.

Great food, friendly helpful wait staff. Can be a little noisy, so I prefer to get here a little early to avoid the crowds. The prawns was excellent, as are the chicken and fish dishes. Never have had room left for dessert, but the do look enticing.

I entertained my overseas business colleagues at the Amaranta for dinner. We chose the plated 7 course Akbar navratna set menu. It was just awesome. The menu was extremely well thought of and well presented. Amaranta is on the pricier side but it's money you will never ever regret spending. Its traditional Oberois hospitality at its best. The service as... More

We stayed in the hotel one night before flying back in the morning. For convenience, we decided to have dinner in Amaranta. Good decision. It was probably our best dinner in this trip to the north on india. The food was delicious and very well presented. The chef here seems to be able to keep the indian flavors, modernizing the... We went there to celebrate my di n jiju's anniversary. This was the first time for me and I was really impressed. They had amazing assortment of cheese for us to try followed by a great north indian spread. The ambience is very soothing and the service too good. However, its not a place I will recommend to go with... More

I came here by myself after deciding to try something outside of the Trident hotel that is across the street. The restaurant is a bit hidden upstairs and the decor is nice but I thought the swordfish hanging in the wall was a bit cheap looking, they might have paid a lot for it but I just don't think it... I recommend you try the Sunday brunch at our restaurant where a seven course meal paired with Champagne or wine is served on the table. My... More

Visited inadvertently as was recommended to have dinner here instead of the 361. I was suggested the set menu by the Chef Tejas and what an experience - Indian food like you've never had before: as you tumble down the rabbit hole, partly familiar and partly unfamiliar, you are washed with familiar smells and textures in novel forms combined with...
