New look of Sai Sweets is good. Although the old one(DIvyadeep) was also good. Nice and noise free surroundings. But Sai sweets is not good for people who want to have their meal in full peace. Anyhow the food quality is good and the service is great. Thumbs up to the serving staff.

It is a very very good vegetarian restaurant. Chana bhatura is a special breakfast here. Papri chaat and Dahi Bhallas are excellent. You can get a vegetarian thali. And top it up with hot Gulab jamun. It is also an excellent Indian sweet-shop. Enjoy.

Sai sweet evokes nostalgia like no other place for the Chandigarhians. There are so many pleasant memories associated with this place for most of its patrons. At last the management decided to change the interiors after resisting it for so many years…………..and what a good job they have done……the place with the new settings appears more spacious, vibrant and cozy……….yet... This place is good for economy eaters. You can buy a chana bhutara plate for just 50-60 rupees. Also its centrally located in the market.

This is one sweet shop in Chandigarh which has not surrendered itself to the dilution of the " halwai " business like other "halwais". This is the best place for authentic Indian sweets and it has kept alive the tradition of Indian Mithai. The sweets are prepared in traditional methods by a "maharaj" (the head halwai). The ras-malai is something... More

We tried the tikki and the chat, it was strictly ok. Wonder what the hoopla is all about. The decor is nothing to talk about and the sweets didn't look very appetizing. There are many more appetizing options around. Definitely not interested in going there again.

Highly surprised how I missed out writing about my favourite sweet shop! Sai sweets can be termed as a part of Chandigarh's Heritage..it is grand old and has been the same since the time it was constructed, with a few modifications for the good! The place is quite lively, u often see a group of people, mainly elderly people and... More
