This location doesn't look like much from the outside but totally worth a visit. Walking distance from the LeMeridian and a much better value. No ocean views but the food was very good French and service was friendly and efficient! Portion sizes are generous and plenty enough to split. Give it a try! Oh the picture was from our walk... My wife and I ate at Chez Remy on our second night on Tahiti, and we're staying at the nearby Le Meridien. We had walked passed it that morning and having looked at the reviews, we headed there for dinner. Service was good with attentive and approachable staff who's priority was ensuring your food arrived as soon as it was... More

This was our first dinner after arriving on Tahiti, and it was a good choice. The food was very good, we had the raw fish dish as a starter and some pan fried fish for our mains, and everything was quite nice. The service was good, not overly friendly, but just fine.

What a great meal! I read about this restaurant on Tripadvisor as I always want to try local restaurants. From the outside, it is not very appealing. The interior looks more like a small cafe from the 70's and there were only 4 people seated, but the food was just great. We had the local fish grilled Polynesian style with... More

We went for dinner and the 4 of us were seated and there was one other table. After 10 minutes I asked if we could order drinks. Two other tables came in and they were locals and the waiter took there drink orders and food orders. After 25 min we got up and left. Very bad service and rude owner

Client rude! I remind you that, for someone who wants to give lessons, you got two people: you and your son; you certainly do not want to dine with your daughter and your wife! They arrived later and we had to change your table to sit four. You therefore we messed two tables. You waited five minutes and are parties.... More

Went for lunch on a Wednesday and it was pretty busy which was a good sign. Had a home made pate with plenty of bread and good butter. The goat cheese salad was very good and the prawb brochette was excellent. Not cheap - we are on tahiti and all food is expensive - but good quality and well cooked... More

had been hanging out for an entrecote at Chez Remy while we were staying at the nearby Le Meridien. Read the menu earlier in the day and then walked over at 7pm on a Saturday and it was closed! Chef was there chatting to his pals but the restaurant was ferme. Zut! All we got was a Gallic shrug and... More

Sorry you did not have dinner at home and advise you to read the opening hours next time you visit a restaurant. Moreover, the head could not be... More

Fine cuisine within walking distance from the Le Meridien. We ordered the sole and the curry shrimp and both of us loved the food!

This is all french food but it's all amazing! I had the Escargot and the Duck Confit. All were well seasoned and a beautiful presentation. The wait staff were very attentive and they are open in the evening for dinner no matter what trip advisor says. Go here if you are staying nearby. Totally worth it.

The seafood Trio was delish. Each had a different sauce. The seafood were: scallop, shrimp and fish. Not a bad deal. Steak & mushroom. The steak was huge! Most bang for your buck. The butter for the bread was lightly salted. Really tasty over bread. Water is bottled and costs 600 XPF :( Definitely worth trying.
