Fabulous. What more can we say. Great food. Great service. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Located just a short walk from our hotel it was far superior to what the hotel had to offer.

We went to the Blue Banana for dinner. We were seated on the deck section on a lovely evening. The menu was extensive and our meals were delicious with generous servings. It was a little expensive but would definitely recommend dining here.

We went early for lunch (before 12) and managed to get a table on the deck over the water on a Friday without a booking. Food was excellent - we shared the antipasto vegetable plate and then I had a shrimp salad and my wife had the beef in port wine sauce. Then shared a very large desert rum and... More

We were recommended this cafe by an Air Tahiti management worker from NZ. The cafe was only a short, easy 10 minute walk to the right when exiting our stop over hotel, The Manava Suites. We had to walk in the dark and rain at 7pm without a dedicated footpath, but it was lit on one side of the road... More

Four of us went to this restaurant for lunch. Others reviewers have said how good the food was and we would agree. As a starter the Tuna 3 ways was outstanding --Natural Sashimi with the normal Soy sauce with Wasabi plus a Ginger sauce. Grilled Goats Cheese salad whilst it was very large was loved by all. The two servings... More

We were staying at the Manava suite resort and at the front desk they recommended it to us, it was a very short walk from the hotel and the place is really cool, it looks great on the inside and outside areas, we sat outside and loved the view with the lagoon underneath and some fishes around. The food was... More

Spent the afternoon here as part of a sponsored event. Pizza was cooked in a clay over and was delicious. Restaurant sits out over the water and has great views all around. There is a lot of colorful artwork hanging including one of a big lady sitting on a toilet near the restrooms so you know where to go.

We hit up Blue Banana on our last night in Tahiti before heading to the airport. What an experience. Great atmosphere, service, art.. oh and the food and wine were top-notch! We walked here from our hotel up the street and couldn't have been more satisfied by the find. I highly recommend getting a reservation tho.

This restaurant was recommended by a family member and was within walking distance to the Manava Suite Resort (approx. 10 min.). Restaurant was quite busy and we were seated within 5 minutes of arrival. Our family of 4 came for dinner and I thought it was quite pricey. Food and service were OK.

We stayed at the Manava resort on our return from the islands and the Blue Banana was about a 10 minute walk. We went there for lunch on our arrival as our room wasn't ready at the resort . I had read about the Blue Banana on trip advisor and I am so glad I had. You walk in and... More
