We recently ate here during our trip to Moorea. Overall, the food is fair but overpriced for the quality. We had a small bottle of wine, the crab stuffed Parrot fish, a Lobster Mahi dish for $150. The best part about this place is being able to sit on the deck and watch the rays and sharks swim right next... More

Lovely cosy restaurant with charm. Watch stingrays, fish and various shark species swim around waiting for their nightly feeding by the owners. Interesting menu and a blackboard with recommendations with daily changes. Go for the experience; food, service and atmosphere all excellent.

The food is very good and custom made for each diner. Unfortunately this causes you to wait a while. When we where there no employee spoke English which caused a little difficulty since I have a food allergy. Sometime during the evening meal raw meat is brought out and fed from the steps to the sharks and rays - sort... More

You are able to sit right up against the water which is nice. They have a stingray and shark feeding at night which is very fun to watch. The food and service here was very good. Out of all the restaurants we went to for dinner during our stay, this was one of the better places.

We went based on recommendation of another traveler. It is like you are sitting in someones outdoor patio and they are in the kitchen feeding you dinner. Not very many tables and very small. Not dressy or fancy so you can go casual if you want. I had steak my husband had the fish dish that is in the book... More

we definitely made Te Honu Iti our dinner choice for multiple nights. a family of chefs (father and sons). seating area is limited to about 6-8 tables, the setting is relaxed, quiet, and intimate; it feels basically like having a team of personal chefs attending to your meal. the head chef/owner picks you up at your hotel. dining area is... Picked up from Sofitel and taken to Te Honu iti (which as it says in the name is a small shed by the sea). Sat by the sea, which is lit so you can view the rays and sharks. This place is the perfect combination of France and Polynesia - authentic french food served by typically french waiter (yuz espect... More

This is an excellent restaurant with authentic French food. Everything was delicious and the cool part is that they feed the local sharks and sting rays around 8:00 at night. It has beautiful terrace with outdoor dining. The owner even came to our hotel (Hilton) and picked us up and dropped us back off for free. You can't go wrong... More

We had an excellent dinner here and were impressed by the quality of the food and cooking. Tables overlook the water in Cook's bay and you can watch rays and sharks swim round whilst you eat. Free pick-up from local hotels

My husband and I went here for dinner one night. The owner picked us up and was very quite but friendly. He used to be an executive chef at one of the resorts on the island then opened up te hono iti in moorea for dinner and has a place for lunch in tahiti. He takes the ferry everyday to... More
